The typhoon struck the city.
The city where were in.
Houses, stores and malls are down, destroyed.
Wind blew hard.
The water came rushing in.
Families were separated.
Many died.
Everyone was a victim
Including us.

“I’ll never let go. I promise.”
I see her face once more, I held her hand tight.
“I love you. I’ll never let go of you.”
She mouthed I love you too.
The water rises. Next thing I knew we were submerge. I hold her tighter.
Then everything went black.

“sorry ma’am and sir, all flights has been cancelled due to the storm.”
“pero paano naman kami? We only went here for vacation. We can’t stay long.”
“ma’am I suggest po na I-resched na lang po yung flight ninyo. Kasi po all flights na po ang cancelled today malakas daw po ang paparating na bagyo.”
“but…”
“hey babe wala tayong magagawa. Bumalik na lang tayo sa hotel. Thank you miss.”
Sabi ko kay Alyss. She is persistent sa mga ganyang bagay kawawa naman yung babae baka awayin nya pa.
“But Gab, how about our work sa Manila. 2 weeks leave lang tayo.”
