Wow, now that is a ride. Stretch limo, with all glass tinted. That thing could hold a whole party in it. The driver even had a man in waiting to grab our bags.
The inside was even better with a fully stocked bar and enough grub to feed me for weeks, Andrew had thought. What had the driver said? There were a couple of other stops he had to make before we headed down south across the border into the United States.
No problem, he would just pour himself a scotch on the rocks and relax a bit. This really was going to be a great week.
Dam they even had a large screen TV in here with a bunch of Movies. There were all classical. Dungeon and Dragons' first movie, and the second one, the whole cartoon series, and Dragon Slayer, there seemed to be a theme here. Both Robin Hood movies I liked.
What a shock it was when the door opened and Bill stepped into the back with me. What had it been 10 or 15 years now since I had seen him?
"Hello Bill, can I get you a drink, or would you prefer a beer?" Andrew had asked.
"How about a honey crown on the rocks if they have it? How's it been going, pal? Long time no see." Bill had said.
"Pretty good. A bit surprised seeing you here. How strange is that? We both got invited to the same thing at the same time." Andrew says while handing Bill a drink in an old-style Viking tankard.
"Cool cups, my friend. So do you know who this guy is that invited us? Awesome movie you are watching." Bill says.
"No, I thought it might have been a rich relative or something because it said Lord on it, but now I have no clue since you are here as well. Do you have any ideas?" Andrew had asked.
"Nope, none at all now. Guess we will have to kick back and relax till we find out. Dam that food smells good." Bill says while checking things out.
"Dam Bill, look who is outside, where they are stopping to pick up another person now. There is no way that this is just by accident." Andrew says as the door opens up.
"Hello, Brice and Scott, How the hell have you been? Long time no see. What is this, Friday night gaming get-together like old times?" Bill says.
"Hello Bill, Hi Andrew. Cool tankards what are you drinking? Dam that food smells good." Brice says.
"Hello, you two. How's it hanging? Those are pretty cool tankards and that food does smell awesome. So was it one of you that invited us on this trip?" Scott asks while getting into the limo.
"Nope, was about to ask you the same thing. Help yourselves, it seems we have a bit of a ride before we pick up our other guest. Was about to have another crown on the rocks but found some other interesting stuff back here. Just have to try this Greyhawk stout Ale. If anything just because of the name on it." Bill says while thinking of the days they use to all game together.
"Dam Brice, you see this. Celestial Elven Mead from the bees to you. I have to try this, you want one as well?" Scott Says.
"Sure sounds like something I might like. So did you guys all get the same letter?" Brice asks.
"You mean this one with all the fancy writing on it," Andrew says while pulling it out of his jacket pocket.
Dear Sir,
You have been invited to an all-paid for a week in Arizona. All accommodation have been taken care of for you. A carriage will pick you up Friday night. Nothing is required, lodging, food, and drink, plus entertainment have all been prepaid and await you.
Sincerely,
Lord Alucard
"Ya, I got the same one. Thought it might be an expensive prank at first, but dam might as well be ready just in case it was not." Bill says.
