English 4 Honors was no joke. You'd think that because we were seniors they would try to lessen the load but no they made it harder. My teacher, Ms. Harding, was especially hard on the black kids. She was an African-American woman herself and I guess she felt the need to push all the black kids harder and didn't let us slack off.

Only me and Winnie were in the honors classes. Junior, Noah and Avery said they didn't want any hard classes their senior year. My father said I had no choice. Especially if I planned to get into the University of Florida.

"We'll just wait until Kodi and Winnie finish with what's ever on their phones. I wouldn't want to interrupt." I heard Ms. Harding say. Embarrassed I just closed my phone and put my phone down on my desk. And when I looked over at Winnie, she was putting her phone in her bag.
" Thank you." She said and going back to saying whatever she was saying. I put my head on the desk, ready to go home. *****************************************************
The bell ring in my last class signaling that it was time to go home. '3:15 couldn't come early enough' I thought to myself. I gathered all my things and headed towards the quad where I usually meet them. I pulled out my phone and clicked the Twitter app. I pressed the messages icon and saw that one of the guys I used to talk had DM'ed me. When I clicked on the message to open it, I felt someone knock into me harshly and the force sent my phone tumbling to the ground and me with it.
I landed on my butt. A little dazed, I looked up to see a boy with long hair going over where my phone had landed and picking it up.
" Ko, are you ok?" I looked away from the boy and towards the sound of Winnie's voice. Her, Avery, Junior, and Noah were headed towards me with worried looks on their faces. 'God, it feels like I broke my tailbone'. I thought.
" Yeah, I'm fine." I picked myself up and dusted off my butt. The boy with the long hair was holding my cracked phone in his hands.
" Awww no! I just took it to the repair shop! Now I'm going to have to ask my dad for money to get it fixed." My dad was tired of giving me money to fix my phone. Every time I asked he would give me a long spiel about how I should get a job.
" Your not paying for it. He is." Noah said, turning to face the boy.
" No, Noah it wasn't his fault. I wasn't watching where I was going." I said as I turn to face the boy also. " I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run into you."
Instead of answering he just looked at me. And I looked at him.
" Hey! Don't you hear him talking to you? He apologized. The polite thing to do is accept it or something." Junior said, getting angry.
I had never seen him before. I would have noticed him. You could tell he was the artsy type and he had a camera hanging around his neck.
" Y'all bitches staring at each other like y'all bout fuck right here or something." Avery said and I heard Winnie agree.
Never have I ever met someone who stared so deep into my soul like this boy was doing. It was like he could see right into me.
Never had I ever in my short 17 years of life met someone who could take my breath away. But he did.
He was gorgeous.
"I'm sorry about your phone. I'm Messiah." The boy said in what had to be the most sexiest voice I had bee heard. It was so smooth and deep. I was at a loss for words.
" Ummm...yeah." Was all I could muster.
"Can I take your picture?" Messiah asked.
All I could do was nod. I hope I didn't have my mouth open or nothing.
He picked up his camera and took a picture of me.
"Wow", I heard him say under his breath.
" His name is Kodi and your going to have to catch him tomorrow, because he's my ride home and I have to meet my boyfriend. So ta-ta." Avery said while pulling me away from Messiah.
Once we made it outside, it was like the spell that was over me lifted.
" Who the hell was that?" I screamed to Avery , as we made it to my car. The others got into their cars as well and drove out before me.
"I don't know but y'all will see each other again. I had to get you outta there. You was blubbering like a fish outta water." Avery said laughing.
