"How did you find me?" I asked surprised, sensing someone in my room.

The man stepped out of the shadows of the room and my eyes widened with shock. It was the same man, the one who was called being called 'your highness'.

He was standing right in front of me, smirking.

As he took one step forward, I took one step back. Reflexively my hand went back to my belt to find my knife and needle daggers.

"How did you find me," my tone hardened becoming more serious this time.

This guy is really pissing me off.

"I followed you," he answered vaguely while shrugging.

I rolled my eyes and glared at him. "I know, but how. I checked thrice, no ones been able to escape my senses. So how did you?"

He raised his eyebrow at me which showed so much arrogance.

"Well it seems you're not the only one who's special."

He continued walked towards me and my instinct took over causing me to walk backwards, away from him but my back had crashed against a wall.

My hand quickly grabbed my needle daggers and brought them into position. I was looking into an amused pair of deep blue eyes, and it was then that I noticed his features.

He had deep black hair, a defined jaw, high cheekbones, and flawless skin. But I snapped out of my trance and continued glaring at him.

He smirked at me again arrogantly.

Does this guy smirk all the time?

"Like what you see?"

"As if." Then silence followed, we were walking in a circle seizing each other up.

"Why did you follow me?" I asked rather rudely.

"Is this how you treat the person that saves you? If I knew that you would be selfish, then maybe I shouldn't have done what I did," he said giving me a glare.

"Why did you save me? You don't even know me." Curiosity getting the best of me.

"Everyone is not as bad as you think they are."

I fell silent not knowing how to respond.

"I was just making sure that all of that wasn't for nothing."

As soon as he said that, he lowered his guard and walked towards the exit. I didn't know why but I threw my daggers at him with staggering speed.

But to my surprise, he caught it.

Bad move. I could tell from his eyes not showing any emotion, which deeply scared me.

If looks could kill, I would already be 6 feet under.

"Bad move, princess," He growled.

He threw my daggers at the ground and took 3 long swift strides across the room like a vicious predator.

In a second, I was pinned against the wall and something terrifyingly cold was placed on my cheek and and slowly moved towards my neck. There was crimson liquid that ran down my face.
