Chapter 1-

Allison's POV:

Today was the day. Today was the day. Today we would finally find out who would be lucky enough to go on the 3 day field trip to a fancy mansion in the country for a team building/ trust building trip. The sheet with the seven names would be posted after 3rd period ( aka pre algebra - blah) outside the principals office. My best friend Samantha was dragging me and my other two best friends, Kylie and Daphne to the office to see the list . "This is ridiculous! The sheet isn't even up!" Clay says. " see its a just a joke! Come on let's go we will be late for fourth period!" Kylie says, she was such a nerd sometimes. "Lies!" Samantha yells at Kylie and clay who is already gone. "Yay!" Samantha squeals.

7. Samantha Barker

We all high- five but Samantha who just keep starring at the first name on the list. Samantha had a crazy crush on Al all year.

" what. Are . You guys. Do- ing." Brittany said panting she just got out of gym and she had run the mile today. " fourth period starts. In . A minute! " she continues.

" no no, who cares we won,! " Samantha says looking away from the list finally.

" I thought you didn't sign up?" I asked Brittany.

" I didn't" Brittany said finally catching her breath.

" then who did?" Nick said as he turned the corner.

" we're you listening to our whole conversation?!" Samantha spat at him, they had a long history of hate towards each other. They were exes.

" I wasn't talking to you." He says as he finishes walking in the door. Al is behind him.

Samantha is quiet.

" oh hey Al. " I say " did you-" I try to continue before I am cut off by the principal.

" students. Please come in" she says as she gestures us inside her office.

"Are we in trouble missing fourth period?" Daphne says once we were all sat down. If daphne was late for one more class she'd get a detention. Monday she'd been in the bathroom, Wednesday she dropped all her books down the 3rd floor stairs, what was next!!

" no no don't worry , your not in trouble." Said Mrs. Bright our principal.

" yes!" Kylie yells as she does a little happy dance.

Al and I laughed and once Samantha saw that Al was laughing she started over dramatically laughing too.

" you lucky seven will be whisked away tomorrow in a first class's Disney cruise lines bus to a mansion in the country for a three day excursion with world class service and chefs, so go get packing, you are excused from school for the rest of the day and you are to meet here at 8 am sharp if you are late we are leaving you no exceptions." Mrs. Bright says.

"Good thing, nick's always late for school. He will hopefully be late tomorrow" I hear Samantha mutter under her breath.

"What was that Samantha?" I say, I just love to give her a hard time sometimes.

"Oh I was just , ummm telling my self how ummm lucky I was to get into this program. Samantha lies.

Kylie, Al and I exchange wired looks we all heard what she had really said, luckily nick hadn't heard.

"Ok, now , get out." Mrs. Bright says trying to make a joke but obviously failing as no one laughs.
