Daphne's POV
We all laughed, even Al who wasn't acting all zombie like anymore.
There had been a really high pitched scream come from outside about two hours ago but we were all afraid to see why the screamer had screamed, so we had stayed inside and nervously laughed when the funny parts came in the movie. But now, we were starting to relax. I still doubted any of us would get any sleep though.
A white piece of paper slipped halfway under the door caught my attention, and I pointed to it.
Nick walked over to it, opened the envelope and read aloud what it said.
"You need to start looking for the dining hall.
Best regards, the butler down the hall. "
"So it's from Charles." Al said. Nick and I were shocked it was the first thing he'd said in 2 hours, since the scream. "Well, I trust HIM, so let's go" Al put a emphasis in him, that nick understood but I didn't, oh well. Not the time for that anyways.
"We can't exactly take the easiest route, can we?" Nick said. "I mean this is field trip, remember. We probably being tested." He continued.
There was a pause.
Then Al wandered over to the wall and pointed up.
"We tried down," he said "now let's try up."

Kylie picked up a rock and handed it to me. we were standing at the side of the servants quarters that faces the guesthouse. The left side. below was on of those basement type windows. Below at our feet was our way in.
But what danger was inside.? Where we supposed to be quiet and not seen nor heard?
