"Remember to pack a toothbrush." my mom said from behind the kitchen counter. Even though she had 4 kids and a full time job she still always made sure we were good to go.

"ok, got it mom"

"Allison?, why are you leaving us?" my younger brother asked me.

"oh, Eric it's only a school trip, i'll be back really soon."

"last year my class went to the aquarium for the school trips, 'member?"

"yes, and i remember that you also climbed into the penguin tank when no one was looking and tried to take a penguin home."

Eric made a frusterated face. 'no! I wanted a penguin egg so I go 'hack' my own penguins!" Eric defended

"oh ok"

"time to go Allison." mom said "come on Eric, go get your brother."

"where's jessica?"

"dad's bringing her to Laine"s house" i answered.

"laine. and that's jessica's friend."

"billy is me and Eric friend" Alex said before he riped the head off an action figure in the back seat.

"No! Alex!" Eric yelled once he saw what Alex did.

"alex, stop breaking your brothers toys" mom said from the drivers seat.

"there not his" Alex says.

"Then whose dolls are they then?" mom asked from the drivers seat

"THERE NOT DOLLS!" Alex yelled as i unzipped my duffel bag i had on my lap and turned on my phone.

"stop yelling Alex" Eric whines.

I read my phone:

THREE NEW TEXT MESSAGES ...all from last night, shoot

the first one:

"hey it's Daphne"

the second one:

"umm are you still babysitting?"

the third one:

"hey Ali"

I hear a thud come from the back seat as compose my text:

"hey Daph"

I hear a beep come from my phone almost instantainously.

"hey"

"stop! thats billy's toyseis!" i hear Eric yell while being smashed into the window.

"BOYS!" my mother yells as she pulls into the cvs parking lot.

"sorry i gtg daphne" i type

"oh k" she answers back.
