A Nightmare On Elm Street: Sidemen Fanfiction

Chapter 9

*The next morning*

"In the headlines this morning, a local teenage boy was brutally murdered during an all-night party" the TV blurted out in Amy's kitchen.

Amy then walked into the kitchen, her eyes red and a vacant stress on her face. She hears the TV and stops in her tracks.
"Police say the victim, had been in an argument with his girlfriend. There is no evidence that she killed him, but she is currently a suspect" the woman on the TV said.

Josh then darts over to the TV and turns it off, then turns to look at Amy.
"Where are you going?" Josh asked her, confused.
"School" Amy replied. "I could hear you tossing and turning all night, you can't go to school" Josh said.

"I've gotta go to school dad. Please. Otherwise I'll just sit up in my room and go crazy" she told Josh.
"Did you sleep?" Josh asked her.
"I'll sleep in the library, promise. I'd rather keep myself busy" she replied.
"Ok, be careful" Josh said, smiling at her.
Amy then grabbed her stuff and walked out of the house.

*On the way to school*
Amy was walking down the street, on the way to school. She wasn't paying much attention, because she didn't realise that Rose was walking on the opposite side of the road.

Amy continued to walk, but soon clocked on that Rose was there. She had to look twice to make sure it was definitely her, before quickly running over to her.
"Rose" Amy shouted as Rose turned her head.
"Oh, hey Amy" Rose said, not sounding herself at all.

"How are you feeling?" Amy asked her. "Ok I guess, mostly tired than anything else" Rose replied.
"Didn't you sleep?" Amy asked. "No, I spent most of the night at the police station and I couldn't get to sleep when I got home" Rose told Amy. "What did the police say?" Amy asked.

"They asked about mine and JJ's relationship, why were argued, if I killed him" Rose replied. "I can't believe they think you killed him, you would never do anything like that to anyone" Amy said, sounding annoyed.
"I'm scared Amy, what if think I did it? Oh god, I miss him so much" Rose said as she burst into tears.
"Shh it's ok, come here. Nothing is going to happen to you, we're gonna get through this together" Amy said as she pulled Rose into a hug.

"Maybe you should go home" Amy added. "No, I have to distract myself and school looks like the only place I can do that" Rose told Amy. "That's what I told my dad, come on let's go" Amy said as she put her arm around Rose and the pair both walked to school.

Sorry for a short chapter, feeling tired tonight. The next chapter will be more exciting I promise :)
