*Flashback to 2007*

"Run Alex! He's going to catch us," Lucy screams from the top of her small lungs.

"Lucy, in front of you," the two girls protector, Charlie, said, stopping a few steps short of a huge giant. Lucy didn't stop in time and ran head on into the monsters shin. She bounced off limply.

"Charlie! What do I do?" Alex screams, wiping rain out of her eyes.

"Keep running," he shouted back. Alex ran forward and through an arc way with a sign that read 'Camp Half Blood'.

She turns and watches as Charlie kicks his furry satyr legs as the giant attempts to crush Lucy.

"No!" Alex screams as the giant succeeds in smashing Charlie, leaving him in a pile of dust. Lucy, though, was surrounded by a bubble. A bubble made of pure water. Poseidon had saved her. But then the giant turned and charged at Alex. The shield surrounding the camp faltered and the giant grabbed Alex and ripped her out of the safety.

He started to squeeze Alex and the last thing she remembers is a heavy line of arrows raining down on her and the giant.

*End of Flashback*

*Alex's p.o.v.

I wake up with a jolt, sitting up fast and hitting my head off the bottom of the bunk above me. I was soaked in sweat and tears were running down my face.

That was a reoccurring dream I have had since I was 8. That was when I first came to camp. Me and my friend Lucy were almost murdered trying to get here.

"Alex, are you ok?" My half sister, Annabeth, asks, turning away from her laptop at the paper filled desk across the room. The cabin has multiple bunks, book shelves, and desks scattered around. The floor was almost completely covered by papers.

"Yeah, just the dream again," I answer rubbing my head. I am 14 now.

"You should really talk to Chiron about it. That dream has been happening for what 6 years?" She asks. I nod and slide out of bed.

" I don't know... Maybe I'll talk to mom later," I say, pulling my blonde hair into a ponytail.

" Alex. You know that she probably won't answer. None of them do," Annabeth says. I shrug and change into my yellow camp T-shirt, and boot cut jeans. I pull on my light weight tennies and jog out the door, leaving Annabeth alone.

I make my way over to the Poseidon cabin. It's only Lucy and her half brother Percy. I whip open the door and run straight into Percy, the most gorgeous man alive. He has shaggy black hair and the most beautiful sea green eyes.

"Hey big Al," he says, smiling his thousand watt smile. I start to blush and blabber, but thankfully Lucy saves me.

"Percy. How many times have I told you not to speak, look at, or touch any of my friends?" Lucy says playfully hitting Percy on the arm.

"Luce, you don't scare me," Percy laughs. I was so jealous of Annabeth; she pretty much had Percy wrapped around her finger.

"We are at the stables today," I say. Both Percy and Lucy have been blessed with the power to speak to horses.

"Cool I'm going too," Percy chimes in.

"Kay whatever," Lucy shrugs. She turns on her heel and walks into her cabin. The cabin only has three beds in it. Lucy's corner was on the left of the door; her corner was full of shelves and posters. The shelves were of her prized possessions. There was one object to represent each of her quests. Together we had been on 6. Separately, she had been on 3 and I had been on 2 1/2 . She had literally gotten back from a quest this morning.
