He's Got A Girlfriend

I mean, it’s not like a 17 or 18 year old guy would go for someone three or four years younger. I was just going to shoot to down their dreams now and in a nice way, instead of one of the guys killing it later and in a rude way. So in my mind, I’m helping them.

I jog over to their little group gathering. Pushing through the small circle of girls, I look them over from head to toe. All of them were wearing tight, short little spandex. I look at it and realize that it would barely cover their butts when they start running. They had obviously already figured that out. I listened as they talked about how one of them, probably the “leader”, was going to try flirting with Josh. Knowing him, he would take one second to realize how hard she was trying and laugh to himself about it. Then he would just ignore her. She also had makeup covering her face. I knew that by the end of the day, half the stuff on her face would be rearranged and smeared around from wiping the sweat off so many times. I wouldn’t be surprised if the back of her hand was painted in concealor.

“Hey guys. You do know that Josh has a girlfriend right?”I watched with a smirk as her confident smile faltered until she recovered. She looked at me with a cocky but slowly fading smile. “Who is it then? I know everyone in town, who’s his girlfriend?”

“You see, I’m actually not allowed to share that information. They want to keep that hidden.” In all fairness, they really did want to keep it a secret. And by they, I mean Josh and I.

“So, you’re telling me that you know who his girlfriend is, but you’re not allowed to tell me? Sounds to me that he doesn’t really have a girlfriend. Were you just saying that because you like him and you’re worried he’ll choose me over you?” Honestly, half of what she said was could have just let her make a fool of herself in front of Josh while I stood to the side and laughed. Oh well, I was never one to stop myself from adding in a smart mouth comment. I should really stop doing that. I’ll try and hold back a little longer next time. Or not, it doesn’t really make a difference to me. Hm, maybe that’s why the people who made us left. I refuse to call them mom, dad, mother, father, or call them my parents. They are worthless pieces of crap that don’t deserve my tears, my time, or my thoughts. That means it’s time to stop thinking about them. That would also mean tuning back in to whatever this girl was saying to me right now. But that would bore me to death, so I just started imagining how college would be. She let out a grunt of frustration when she realized I wasn’t paying attention. She brushed passed me as her and her group of friends walked past me. I smirked as she stumbled back a little when she tried to bump my shoulder. I, on the other hand, didn’t move a muscle, except for my mouth in order to smirk at her. Oh well, she’s the one that tried to bump me. I had to suppress a laugh as her stumbling back made the entire group of girls stumble on each other.  true. Yes I like him. I mean, he’s my boyfriend, why wouldn’t I like him. But was I afraid he would choose her over me? Never in her wildest dreams. Just the thought of that made me want to laugh in her face. Considering I didn’t want to lose my job, I held back all the smart comments and comebacks I had flowing through my head. Plus, I kinda brought this on myself.

Picture of JJosh to the side. I love this guy. Everybody go watch teen wolf. Then, listen to the song U.N.I. by Ed Sheeran just because both he and the song are AMAZAYN!!!!!!!!
