I look over towards Nicole, and she gives me a bright smile as she dances in the dark, with the bright blue and green lights evading her space.
The lights have a tint of blue and green, and when they shine on her, it's as if it was made for her.
She's dancing like she's the queen of everything.
Careless.
Happy.
I wish I could be like you, Blonde.
Careless and happy.
"You okay?" I hear her voice scream through the music.
I look at her, "I haven't drunk anything yet, you wanna get out of here?"
She looks at me, "What about Ryder? He said he was going to give us a ride," she blinks.
"I'll text him saying that I have you," I inform her.
She hesitates, but then slowly nods her head, "Okay, then let's go," her blue-green eyes stare at me as she grabs my hand.
She quickly drags me through the house, and all I can do is watch her walk, hand in hand with me.
I see several people watch us, but only a pair of certain green eyes catch me.
He raises an eyebrow, and I quickly shake my head.
I raise my hand and make an 'OK' sign, telling him that I have her handled.
Ryder simply nods his head.
When we reach outside, Nicole is barely standing anymore.
"Need help?" I raise an eyebrow.
She quickly shakes her head, "Just tired," she yawns.
"And you drank a lot," I clarify.
She rolls her eyes, "Thanks for the obvious," her voice was laced with sarcasm.
"Do you want a ride-" she cuts me off.
"You have a tattoo?" her eyes turn a dark blue.
I raise an eyebrow, "Yes, why?"
She looks at me, "It's beautiful," she whispers.
"Let's get you home-" I start to walk towards her, before she moves closers.
Her hand extends, and I freeze.
"Can I?" she's referring to touching the markings.
I slowly nod my head, gulping down my pride for a second.
Her hand touches my bicep and I tense up from the physical contact.
I look down at her, and her eyebrows are furrowed together, staring at the ink patterns.
"Why did you choose a lion?" she asks, slowly lifting her head.
Her hand is still on my arm as she asks this.
I give her an impassive look, "My mother," was my reply.
"What about her?" her voice was independent and strong.
I give her a look, "You need to get home."
She sighs, dropping her hand "It's techinically a dorm," she pauses, "But okay."
