Part 14 - Celebrations

Melinda's POV

Graduation day finally came and surprisingly, Skyline won valedictorian. She was my best friend to date and I was very happy for her but I didn't expect her to win - she didn't too. When she found out, she was very surprise as well. She didn't know what to say at first. We all expected it as someone else, who apparently came a close second.

Skyline went up with her prepared speech on that day. She did not take a long time to say it, in fact, I didn't hear most of it. I was still in shock that this day came. I even needed to be pushed when my name was called to shake the principal's hand and receive my certificate.

It was officially over. We had graduated. All 7 of us.

Some things remained the same though. For example, things never went well between us and the TPs but Careful was alright talking to us. She had eventually left the team and was about to take her examinations to be an approved professor at College. Thomas was the most cold to us and I may have grown to dislike him a bit.

However, as time passed, the TPs no longer affected me, and I started to really enjoy life while living it to the fullest. My 6 best friends became my closest sisters. I became a great painter too, you could call me an artist.

I don't think I'll ever be the same quiet girl as before but I have definitely changed for the better. I made many new friends and I think I would be ready for college when it comes but that would be another chapter of my life. The current chapter - high school - was ending.

I think the chapter of being a nymph would never end though. I love being one and swear that I'll be one till the day my soul leaves me.
