Chapter:8 Going home

My Ringtone was going off it must have been Ms. Wreckwill I picked it up. "Hello" I said. "Hi Siara I heard your stuff got stolen" Ms. Wreckwill said. "Yes me and Lacey are going to see if we can find the guy who stole our th"... "No dont you have to catch the Cousin" Cheif Wreckeill said interruping. "What if the cousin stole our things". I said. upset. "ok ill give you guys a couple days to find out who stole your stuff but then after you have to find the cousin and then come home" she said. "ok" I said. "Bye Mrs. Dunkin" Cheif Wreckwill said. After that I got dressed to go out then Lacey came out of the bathroom. "Cheif Wreckwill said".. I started to say. "I know what she said" Lacey said. "You do?" I asked. "Yeah I heard you guys talking on the phone" Lacey said. "Oh well im going to go get ready so we can go find the person who stole our stuff". I said getting my clothes. I went to the bathroom and put on a green t shirt and Blue jeans. Then I combed my hair and flat ironed it. After that I came out of the bathroom "Ready?" I asked Lacey. "Yeah" she said. "ok lets go" I said leaving the room. We went to the elavator and went to the lobby I decided to ask the desk lady if she seen anything. "Hello Ma'am can we ask you a few questions?" I asked the lady we're federal agents I said. "Is that so?" she asked. "Yes but we dont have our badges because someone stole them." "Ok" she said smiling. "We were wondering did you see anything suspicious on floor 34?" I asked. "Well I did see a guy go into room 17" The lady said. "That's our room" I whispered to Karel. "Thank you" I said leaving the front desk. Then we went to the parking lot He sun was nice and warm feeling then we went in the car. "So how are we going to find the guy who stole our things?" Karel asked. "I dont know".. I said . We drove for an hour and still we couldn't figure out who stole our stuff. "Maybe we can check the serve lance cameras" I said. Going back to the hotel. We got back to the hotel we got out of the car then we went back to the lady at the front desk. "Hi" I said. "Hi" the lady said. "Can we look at your Cameras?" I asked. "Yeah sure right this way" the lady said. Taking us to a door behind the desk. We got to the room and the lady showed us the things the camera records every day. We watched to see if anybody looked suspicious then the camera showed a man with a blue cap that came to the desk he asked for a key. "Wait! stop the camera!" I yelled. "What's wrong?!" Siara?" Lacey asked with a worried face. "The camera showed the man getting a card, the card the number to our hotel room" I said. "Well actually the guy said that he was staying in that room with you guys and he said he lost the card to the room so I gave him a copy of the real card and"... "You what!" interrupting the lady. "Im sorry I didn't know he wasn't staying with you guys." The lady said with a worried face. "Ugh! its ok for know' I said. I walked out of the camera room "Come with me!" Lacey hurry!" I said. "What's wrong?" Lacey asked while we walked to the front desk. "I know how we can find out who the guy was who broke into ur hotel room" I said whispering kind of talking low trying not to look suspicious. even though there was nobody in the front of the hotel. "How?" Lacey asked. "Well I was thinking we could video the video from the security camera and send it to jack he can look more closely and see who it is" I said. "yeah great idea!" Lacey said almost jumping. After that I asked the lady in the front desk if we could see the security  camera and record the video that we watched. We recorded the video and walked out to the front of the hotel. "Be careful with that video whatever you going to do with it" she said watching us walk out of the hotel. "We will we're federal agents" I said. Then we walked out to the parking lot. We got in the car and I took out my phone "do you think it'll work?" Lacey asked with a worried look. "Yeah I know it will" I said smiling. I sent the video to Jack then asking him if he could see who it was. five minutes later he text back saying ok ill try. After that we decided to go get lunch I felt like having fast food so we drove to Wendy's I drove up the speaker

The lady came on: "Hello how may I take your order?" she asked. I decided to order from the dollar menue since it was cheaper. "Hi I would like number two and a small fries and a sprite please" "What do you want"?" I asked Lacey. "Ill have number three she said and a small fries and water" Lacey said. I told the lady what we wanted and drove to the window. "Ok that will be five dollars and sixteen cents." the lady said. We payed for our food at the first window then we got our food at the second window. "Thank you" I said when we got our food. "Your welcome' the lady said with a smile. We started driving then I got a text from Jack.

Jack: Guys I think I  know who the guy is?

       Me: who is it?!

         Jack: The brother!

          Me: are you sure?

          Jack: yes i am!

          Me: ok

           Jack said its the brother i said to Lacey.   Ok but how do you know  its him? and could you track him? i asked Jack.  

      Jack: because it looks like him and yes ill track him down.

   Me: ok texts me when you find where he is

    Jack: ok

   Then we started eating our food after that Jack texted back.  

Jack:  Siara  he's on his way to New Jersey! 

Me:  What!? that's where my ex -husband lives!
