Chapter Seven

After class I walked to my locker after class and opened the note. It read

"Dear Lauren,

As you know this is Mitch. I was wondering if you'd like to hang out after school today. I was gonna introduce you to some of me and Jerome's friends. They're pretty cool and funny. You probably will met most of them today but I just want you to understand me and Jeromes conversations.

So anyway, If you'd like to just tell me okay?

I smiled. I'm actually going ot have friends. Hopefully they like me. I laugh softly and turn around and see Mitch. Wow stalker much? I giggle and raise an eyebrow.

"Stalker much?" I say and laugh soft.He chuckled and replied "Yeah, I know. Anyway you want to hang out?" I nodded and hugged him. Of course Jerome HAD to come at the wrong moment and snapped a picture of us hugging. I still didn't let go. It just felt right you know? Just to stay and hug someone for a while... I felt welcome.

"Lauren. You there?" Mitch laughed soft and tapped the top of my head. I blushed. "Oh sorry!" I let go and rubbed the back of my head and smiled at him.

"See ya!" He said. "See ya later!" I said back and rushed to my next class.

I think I know him now where I know him from... Oh my god....

I went to Spanish class all frazzled and Hairwoman (My nickname for her) is always ready for Spanish! She introduces class with Spanish and thinks we know what she's saying. Literally if she just told us how to say curse words in Spanish we might have actually paid attention.

I laughed softly so myself at my joke and started doodling a couple holding hands.

I sat down at the normal table Jerome and I usually sit at. I hum "Match into Water" [AN: Link will be at the side]. Someone taped me on the shoulder and i jumped. It was Mitch with Jerome, Adam, Ty, Jason, and some others.

"Here's some of my friends" I saw mitch chuckle a bit. Adam and Ty were playfully punching each other. I laughed to myself and nodded. I turned back around and started playing on my phone still humming the song. It was catchy, I couldn't help it. I love Pierce the Veil. "Whatcha humming now dood?" Jerome asked because he knows I'm into those types of bands.

"Pierce the Veil Match into Water" I replied and looked at pictures of cute cats. I like cats.

"Not big surprise." He said and laughed and sat next to me. Mitch sat across from me, Adam sat next to Mitch, Ty sat next to me and Jason sat next to Jerome. The others I didn't really pay attention too.

"So Lauren this is Tyler." Jerome said. I looked up and he was pointing to a guy with hispter glasses with straight lightish brown hair. He was wearing a red plaid shirt and skinny jeans. I raised an eyebrow and whispered to him "Is he a wanna-be hispter?". Jerome laughed and said no. Then he pointed to a girl with Poofy Hair. It looks funny. "That's Ashley. She's an exchange student from the UK." I nod. She glares at me and I raise an eyebrow. What did I do? Then he pointed to a girl with a Harry Potter and Hipster glasses. She was looking at Tyler and blushing. She might like him. "That's Katelyn." She waves. "Hey Lauren!" I wave back. "I know she's in mostly all my classes."

So I met new people but this girl randomly hates me? Why? Jerome spoke up.

"Ashley be nice. Mitch and her aren't dating." He nuges me and I blush and look down and go back on my phone.

"Shut up Jerome. I don't like him." She said and glared at me."What did I do?" I ask.

"What do you think? That party last year. You fucking ruined it. Why did you call the cops-- "

"Shut up Ashley!" Jerome said. "Don't talk about it." He said sternly.

My eyes widen. No. Not this again. I don't want to remember THAT night. I grab my sides and my eyes start tearing up. I get up and run to the girls bathroom. I hate her. I hate everyone.
