Two

Seunghyun took a deep breath and nodded to Daesung and opened the door. It was now or never. Whatever this woman wants, he need to stop her before she could do anything to do some damage to his life. His wife is dead.

Two years ago. He buried her body and the huge engagement ring on her ring finger proves it. It was a one of a kind of ring, he designed it himself and made by the famous jeweler in London, especially for his wedding. So he knew when he saw it. Now that ring was buried together with his wife's burned body.

Or it could be a different woman.

He shook his head at the thought. No. It's impossible. They've search for half a year, every island across the country, he didn't stop even the search team he hired had told him to give up, that it is the burned body of a woman they've discovered was really his wife.

He was truly devastated. Mino was just a month old that time and Seunghyun was at a conference in Singapore when it happens. He can never forget the phone call he received. The news of the airplane where Sandara had boarded crashed. That the rescue team was on their way to save some of the passenger. More are dead. Only several people were able to save.

Seunghyun remembered how he couldn't function well at the first year of losing Sandara. But he had stood up, he had a child to raise. He moved on. But what broke him was, Sandara had tried to break things up with him a week before the accident.

She'd been suffering from depression after giving birth to Mino, she's been too suspicious and jealous that he might not love her and look for someone new. And only to know that she wasn't alone during the crash.

He closed his eyes and clenched his fist, he need to stop thinking how he was betrayed by the woman he allowed into his life and love. Sandara had the right to be jealous and suspicious about him, he had to admit their marriage wasn't a love match. How many times he need to tell her the truth, that he was falling in love to the woman who he married and who gave him the most wonderful gift, their child. But everything was too late.

But now, it was like having a second chance. Seunghyun told himself that he shouldn't think this way, what if the woman inside the room was an imposter? Just someone who pretend to be his dead wife just to take money and story about his family. Not that it happened before. Since he lost Sandara, he didn't let anyone close to his family, especially Mino who was too young to be expose by the bad press and to his enemies in the business.

The air left his lungs as he take the woman who sat across him. No. His mind screamed. His handsome face paled and his knees almost gave out. Sitting across him was a woman, a older version of Sandara. Seunghyun tried to look for something to lean on to support his weight. No. He knew that face. Despite how skinny she looked, the tan of her skin and the dark circles in her eyes. Like she hadn't sleep for weeks. She looked exhausted. The Sandara he knew was far, too far from the woman he is seeing right now. From the baggy shirt, jeans and sneakers, he was sure this is not her, the Sandara he knew was a dress kind of girl. She enjoyed wearing dresses and heels. Young and beautiful. His friends would always say how they envied him to have a woman like her in his life.
