Family

»Castiel's POV«

After Dean left the health office, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. I wanted to talk to him, get to know him a little.

After all, he is new. He could probably use a friend.

I fished my phone out of my pocket to text my best friend, Charlie.

Cas: hey Charlie. Do you mind taking me home?

Charlie: sure, what happened?

Cas: long story, but I don't think Chuck will be able to come pick me up.

Charlie: okay, I'll be outside at my car.

I explained the situation to the nurse, telling her how I really felt fine, but my friend would have to drive me home. After constant reassurance that I was fine, she agreed to let me go home.

When I got to the school parking lot, Charlie was waiting for me. Leaning against her truck.

"Sup bitch." She said with a smile, but her smile faltered when she saw me.

"Cassie, what happened to you!?" She ran over to me and hugged me, but I winced from the pain.

"Oh, nothing that I can't handle." I tried to play it cool.

She eyed me suspiciously.
"Okay, but if you need me to kick some ass for you, just let me know."

I smiled slightly. At least I had my friend.

The drive to my house was quiet, except for the music. When we got there I said bye and went straight to my room. It took me a little bit though, because there are a lot of people currently living in my house. Hmm..let's go through the list.
There's;
•Gabriel
•Anna
•Michael
•Lucifer (yes, satan.)
•Balthazar
•Naomi (major bitch)
And more but those were the first names that came to my mind.

So, when I was walking upstairs, Gabriel was coming down them and stopped when he saw me.

"Heya Cassie. What happened to you?" His voice was filled with concern.

"Nothing, I'm fine. Where are you going?"

He seemed to get excited again when I asked.
"I made a new friend today. His name is Sam Winchester."

I looked up at him when he mentioned the name.
Dean must be his brother.

"I think I know his brother." I said distractedly.

"Cool. Maybe he can come over some time. Well, see ya later cassie." Gabe said before hopping down the stairs.

I continued to my bedroom. In the time that we've lived in this house, I've managed to cover almost every inch of my wall in posters and drawings or paintings. I threw my jacket on the floor and fell onto my bed.

I put my music on shuffle, and turned the music up loud, trying to escape my thoughts. I tend to over think everything. And think about really random things. Right now my thoughts were drifting to bees. They were actually very interesting.

I heard a knock at the door so I paused my music and stuck my head out of my window to see who it was.

(A/N holyshit is it just me or did that sentence seem really long?)

My heart started to race when I saw who it was.

Dean Winchester.

There was a boy next to him who looked a year or two younger than Dean.

Of course, curiosity got the best of me, and I listened to their conversation.

"Samsquatch!" Gabriel exclaimed.

"And you must be Dean-o. I'm Gabriel Novak, or Gabe, but some people call me the trickster."

"Novak? Are you related to Cas?" Dean asked.

"Yeah. Cassie is my big bro."

"Oh, cool. Well, text me when you want me to pick you up." Dean said before he left.

He asked about me? Why does he care?
Stop thinking about this, Castiel. He was probably just curious.

A little while later, my arm started to tingle, and I looked down to see lyrics on my arm from a band named Arctic Monkeys.

That night my dream had a green eyed Winchester in it.
