Mytheras POV:
I cut vegetables, we were making stew.
Alexis was helping me, while the boys cut wood. The winter was cold. We talked about normal girl things, I learned things about her and Laurance relationship I didn't want to know, but I did.
I smiled "how are things going between you and Travis?" Alexis turned to me.
I stopped cutting "they aren't."
I replied placing the knife down.
"Mythera..?" She looked at me confused "what's going on?"
I put on a face smile for her "nothing..." I said picking up the knife and continuing to cut the vegetables.
When we were finished we put them into a pot and began to make the stew, the guys came back starting a fire so we could cook it. I sat on the couch, away from everyone.
The truth was... I was broken again.
*Mytheras Flashback*
I looked at Travis "Travis we need to talk..." I said grabbing his hands.
"yeah, we do..." He frowned "mythera I think we should just be friends."
I felt my heart shatter, I could almost hear it to. I smiled as tears began to pour down my cheeks, I pulled my hands off of his "alright."
*end of Flashback*
It was hard for me, I wanted things to go to normal, but not like this.
"Mythera is ready!" Alexis said clapping her hands together.
I stood up, wiping the tears I didn't know I had. I sat at the table, beside Alexis and facing Laurance.
Alexis put a bowl of stew I front of me. I picked up my spoon, taking a full one and blowing on it to cool it down, then shoving it into my mouth.
I finished the bowl, fast. I smiled to myself "thanks." I said standing up, Zander scratched at my feet.
I smiled placing the bowl back on the table and bending down to per Zander. "Who's a good boy." I said scratching his belly "you are!"
Alexis looked at me, picking my bowl
up and placing the remains down for Zander to lick.
I stood back up and stretched "I'm gonna go to bed." I looked at everyone and waved "night, I'll try and get you beds tomorrow, Alexis, Laurance, you wanted to share right?" They nodded "so that's only two beds I need to get." i said stretching and turning around "G'night."
Alexis POV:
"So that's only two beds I need to get."
She turned and stretched "G'night."
I instantly turned my head to Travis, raising my eyebrow questioning him. The other day she said she was gonna be sharing with him. "What's going on." I said staring into his eyes.
"Nothing." Travis seemed serious "why?"
"Mytheras upset. Why aren't you helping her? What did you do?"
"Woah woah slow down! What makes yo think this is my fault?" Travis asked.
"Because you're the only one who can make her cry you dimwit!" I yelled banging my fists on the table "now god damnit tell me what happened!"
He sat there looking shocked, he said nothing. "I...."
"You what!"
"All I said to her is we should just be friends..." He replied.
My jaw dropped, really? He? Said? That!?
"That's why she's upset." Laurance said, pointing out the obvious.
"What?" Travis looked clueless.
"You're in deep." I scrunched my nose "this time I don't think she can forgive you."
I grabbed Laurance hand and dragged him to the couch.
Travis POV:
"This time I don't think she can forgive you." And then, she left.
I sat there confused, what had I done? That's what mythera wanted, right? For us to just stay friends, things were to awkward now? Was I wrong?
I ran my hands through my hair, biting my bottom lip. Of course, I'm Travis the big fuck up- at least is Alexis and Mytheras eyes.
Liliths POV:
"I have no idea where we are!" I said falling backwards into the snow.
"Don't give up!" Kathy said shivering "we can find them!"
"You're cold." Dante sighed opening his jacket and pulling her into a hug, bring her into his jacket.
Aaron sighed "we need to take a break. We've been looking for forever, we all need rest."
Aaron was right, we did.
Crystal sighed "I can't even sniff them
out, the smell of the snow is to strong!" She said placing her hand in the snow.
Mytheras POV:
I lay in bed, staring at the roof. Would it really be so terrible for one thing to go in my favour? Or was I doomed to be disappointed forever...
