Mytheras POV:
Me and Travis watched the village burn from a hilltop, "it's sad." I muttered.
"Yep.." He wiped the blood off his sword "Mythera I've been meaning to ask.. After everything. What's gonna happen?"
I turned to him "what do you mean?"
"..." He sighed "I don't.. Wanna lose you.. I don't know if I can handle the thought of you with someone els-"
"Travis.." I sighed, I guess it was time I told him MY plans. "I've been thinking... My mom... She told me there's a way to get rid of my immortality.." I turned to him "but there's something serious I need to say.."
"What?" Travis asked.
I gulped, "I wanna go back to my own time..." I had NO idea how he'd react.
He sat for a moment, "what about me?" He looked up.
"I want you to come with me... I want you all to..." I looked down "it's so selfish... But Laurance... Garroth. They both have families- I hate seeing them without them... I know this is your guys home.. But.. You guys-"
"Shhh..." He covered my lips "id fallow you to the end aid the earth and beyond, don't think I won't follow you into the future.."
I couldn't help but smile "alright.." I pulled his hand off my mouth "we need to get moving.." I stood up.
"Whatever the princess wants~" Travis laughed and stood up.
After hours of walking we finally came upon a village, it was our old village. But- it had people again. "What the..." I looked towards Travis "this makes no sense-it was empty a week ago Lilith had checked.."
Travis shrugged, we walks around the village. Half the houses were full, and the castle had the gate candles lit.
We walked towards the castle, when the guard saw us he let us past. "What the..."
we walked inside, being welcomed "what's going on?" Travis finally asked.
"You don't know lord Travis?" One of them asked.
"Lord?" Travis questioned.
"Yes! Your father, the queen? Have you not heard?"
I instantly got it. They were together- dear god it's a good thing I'm not the queens daughter-or that would make me and Travis brother and sister...
I shook my head "bring us there." I ordered and they nodded.
"Are we gonna confront them?" Travis asked.
"We're probably gonna get kicked out faster than we can draw a sword once we do- but yes." I smiled.
We walked into a room, where Travis dad and my 'mom' were sitting.
"Mythera!" The queen jumped up "have you heard about your father? He died!"
"He died about 7 hours ago." I pushed her off "and I killed him." I looked towards Travis dad, he growled.
"I don't wanna see my son-get him the fuck outta here." He snapped.
"Mythera- what?" The queen looked at me.
"I know all the secrets 'mom.'" I snapped. "You're not my mom-and that sure as hell is a good thing now that you and that bastard are together." I grabbed Travis hand "now we know what we're against-let's get the elk outta here before-"
"you little!" The queen snapped,grabbing my wrist "you had it all! Why would you give it up? Huh? Tell me!"
"Because I didn't need it all!" I snapped "all I wanted was to make this place a better place- and you were the ones making it worse!"
She growled "take that back!"
Travis pulled me away from the queen "back off before I cook you alive." Travis had a tone in his voice I had never heard-it was... Honestly kinda sexy...
Me and Travis instantly ran out of the room, we could tell we were being chased- but what fun is it to not be?
