Hey guys! Long time no update, heheh- sorry UoU" I just get quite busy with things and forget to update, and I get stressed v easily ^0^ I'll try to get better thought!!
So much time had passed since that first day of filming, and along with that, so much had changed. You were still somewhat shy around Dave, but you'd grown closer, heck, you could even say you were somewhat friends now. The little crush you had always had for him had really blossomed, along with your friendship. While you spoke to him with confidence, inside you would melt at his every word, savouring how he spoke to you.
He'd always make you feel special with his 'ironic' humour, making it feel like every joke was especially for you.
You only realised how much of an impact he'd had on you once you made your way back onto set, for the last day of recording.
~
The day was long and hard. Who knew one scene could cause so much stress?
Every time you re-acted the conclusion to the film, the director would find something wrong with it, even if it was just a foot out of place, or a turn just slightly too slow. It was always wrong, and you could always do better.
"(Y/N)!" You looked over to hime, and he beckoned you. He lowered his voice once you drew near, as if the two of you were sharing a secret in younger years.
"What's gotten you so distracted today?"
You felt yourself stiffen up as a soft feeling of fear started to creep up onto your back.
You had tried to keep on task and to keep your worries to yourself, but they'd started to show through beyond your own control. To be truthful, the Director was right, you were feeling incredibly distracted. Not that you'd tell him that.
"Ah, sorry sir. I didn't realise. I'll make sure I give this next take my best!"
Before he can open his mouth again, you whisk yourself off.
As you walk back, you run things through with yourself. You need to come to terms with what you're feeling if you are going to ignore and overcome it.
You knew at the back of your mind what was bugging you, but bringing it forth was the hard part.
You were scared.
Not because of the filming or anything. Because of Dave.
Today would be the last day you'd be able to speak to him properly. Yes, of course you wanted to keep in contact with him, but how would you ask about it? You'd never want to come across as too headstrong or needy to him. However, on the other hand, if you didn't say anything, you could risk never speaking to him again. You made a quick mental note to yourself, that whatever happened you'd be fine. You would live. Even if embarrassment felt like it would kill you.
~
After your personal little talk, you felt much better.
As a matter of fact, the next recording went perfectly.
As the last "CUT!"from the director sounded, the room broke into applause. Of course, your body took this as a cue to start blushing like a beetroot.
~
This was the first post-recording party you'd ever been to. It wasn't much, just everyone involved with the film gathered on set, some food and a couple of drinks. As expected, you'd sat yourself down, away from the music and raised voices of everyone else in the room. A half full glass was nestled carefully in your hands. Or was it half empty? It was strange, meaningless thoughts like this that populated your brain as you sat alone.
It was surprisingly calming sitting alone like this, left to gather and ponder on your thoughts.
You didn't like the music that was playing anyway. Nope.
A yawn slipped from your mouth. It was getting late, you noted, as you glanced at the ornate silver watch around your wrist.
As you shook yourself free from your thoughts, you felt a steady hand laying onto your shoulders, and you gaze upwards to see Dave himself smiling calmly at you. He gestures towards the door with a subtle head tilt, and you comply.
"(Y/N)," He starts as he reaches you. "I just wanted to thank you." His cheeks are tinted pink ever so slightly, presumably with embarrassment from thanking you in such an upfront manor. You open your mouth to speak, but he quickly cuts you off.
"No, No. Don't say anything until I'm done." You comply, carefully shutting your mouth.
"Look," He starts again, "I've really enjoyed these past months we've shared together, and I don't want to loose.... this. Whatever we have. It's confusing. But, just take this-" He shoves a crumpled slip of paper into your hand. "- and this-" He kissed you, right on the cheek. Because he's rushed, though, and somewhat embarrassed, it's a little clumsy.
You've entered tomato mode again.
"So yeah." It seems he has too.
"I gotta go. So.. See you round, (Y/N)."
He walks off a little briskly. It's painfully obvious that he's trying to look cool, but he trips a little and ends up stumbling around the corner.
After checking no one is around to hear, you let out an excited squeal.
Carefully, shaking excitedly, you look into the scrunched ball of paper.
Yo. (Y/N). Call me, ay?
