Nobody's POV
You got out of your car, feeling exhausted. You lived in Korea with your boyfriend, Jungkook.
You were in a happy relationship and almost never had to argue with your boyfriend.
The both of you had met 5 years ago, when Taehyung, your best friend, wanted you to meet Jungkook.According to him, you were a 'perfect match', and it looked like he was right.
The relationship already lasted 4 years now, and it seemed like nothing was going to change about that.
Unfortunately, both you and Jungkook had a very busy schedule.
Jungkook being in a famous kpop group, and you having to travel the world for work.
Being far away from each other, was hard for the both of you, but you managed to work things out, because you loved each other. As you unlocked the front door, you glanced upwards, in the direction of the window that led to your bedroom. The lights were off. Jungkook was asleep already.
As quiet as possible, you opened the door and tippy-toed towards the living room. You put your luggage in the corridor and after drinking a glass of water, you sneaked upstairs to go and greet your boyfriend, who you hadn't seen in months. As you reached upstairs, you could hear people talking, and giggling. You raised your eyebrows, surprised.
Those giggles were those of a girl. 'What is another girl doing in my house, at this hour?' You muttered under your breath. The door to your bedroom was slightly opened, the opening being just big enough for you to peak through it.
Unfortunately, you wished you hadn't. The sight caused your heart to break into a million pieces. Jungkook was in YOUR bed, with another girl.
Not doing nasty stuff, but they were awkwardly close and cuddly.Despite the fact that it was almost completely dark, you immediately recognized the girl.
It was your best friend, Nahyun.
You had known her for the past 8-9 years and you always trusted her.Apparently, that was a mistake.
You could easily overhear their conversation. "I swear I heard a car" Nahyun said, she sounded a little stressed. Jungkook soothed her, saying "That's impossible, y/n will come home next month, don't worry about it" He planted a kiss on her cheek and tears formed in your eyes.
Two of the most important people in your life, were doing stuff behind your back. Had everything been a lie?You couldn't watch any more. But neither could you bring yourself to barge into the room and confrontate the both of them.
At the moment you couldn't care less about Nahyun, yes you were best friends, but what really worried you was Jungkook.
The past 4 years had been amazing together, but were you willing to throw that away because of this incident? 4 years was a long time. And maybe, just maybe, Jungkook could explain.
You knew you were being naive, but you just couldn't let Jungkook go.So you tippy-toed back to your car, tears rolling down your cheeks, hoping Jungkook and Nahyun hadn't noticed your presence.
Sniffling, you drove to Taehyung's house. Your tears caused your vision to be blurry and with the darkness of the night, you almost hit a tree.
You wiped your tears away swiftly and got yourself together. You arrived at Taehyung's house, who was very surprised to see you, definitely at that hour of the day. "Ah y/n! You're back from abroad?" he greeted you, a smile forming on his face.
You forced yourself to smile back and there was no sign of that you had just shed some tears.
"Yes oppa, I'm back a little earlier" You thought of an excuse as to why you had to sleep at his place for the night. Without hestitation, Taehyung let you stay the night. Cause 'that's what friends do'.
You decided to not tell him about the incident yet, since Jungkook is his best friend and you didn't want to be the cause of an argument, because you knew Taehyung cared a lot about you, you were like his little sister.
