Do Appearances Matter?

I couldn't stop smiling. Yesterday I passed my exam, met and got Adrien's number and put Chat Noir in his place. Today a new girl, apparently really good at her studies joined the class. They call her Volpina, I just hope she's not a show off like Chat Noir.
"New student, please introduce yourself." The teacher said.
"Hello, I'm Volpina." She says with confidence.
Then the teacher goes on with the lesson. After class I see her talking with none other than Chat Noir.
"So your the one with perfect scores? Or should I say purrfect?" She jokes.
"Yeah." He scratches the back of his neck.
"Maybe we could study sometime together." She says flirtatiously and puts a finger on his little bell by his neck.
"Yeah, sadly I'm forced to tutor this girl." He said.
"Oh who?" She says a little disgusted.
"Her names Ladybug." He replied.
"Sounds kinda lame, a superhero based off a small little bug that's probably the least scariest one of all." She laughs.
I feel like crying, but I shake it off. I walk to my next class trying not to break down.
After school I still thought of my superhero ego. Maybe I do need a different name and look. I decide to shop at Gabriel Agreste's shop for new ideas. I look through designs and sketch them down. "Mari! You're here again!" Adrien came up.
"Adrien!! Uh hi!" I jump.
"You look a little upset?" He said.
"Oh well, I'm just clothes shopping... Some girl kinda teased me, and well, it's fine." I said. I still forgot to tell him my full name is Marinette, but when he calls me Mari it's kinda cute.
"That's awful. Don't worry about her, I think you look great." He sorta realized what he said and blushed a bit.
"Thanks." I said, also blushing.
"Do you uh... Maybe in catch a movie sometime? Or go for dinner?" He asks.
"Yes yes of course!" I say. This is actually happening?
"Okay! I'll text you- oh I'm running late!" He said looking at his watch. He waved and left.
I look at my watch and realize Chat Noir is coming soon. He's one of the last people I want to see, but I better get back to my dorm.
I get to my dorm and put my costume on. Chat Noir arrives.
"Hi. So today I thought we could work on more combat tactics." He put the books on the desk again.
"Okay, but first, do appearances and such matter. Like I'm called Ladybug, and well. That's not intimidating right? Does that matter?" I ask.
"Depends, if you seem weak but are strong, that can make your opponent not expect what's coming. If you look strong that might be intimidating. It doesn't really matter, what matters is if the saving duties are done or not." He said, flipping to today's page.
I mean, I guess that made me feel a little better.
