Chapter 3
As Alice was giving the purse a man ran I between them. He stole Alice's purse and a townsperson ran after him yelling
"Stop thief" and Alice yelled
"My purse". Soon everyone was rioting after the thief, but the only close person was the townsperson who ran after him first. The townsperson was sprinting after him and when he reached him he spun him around and punched him in the face. Then it was a full on brawl between the two of them. Everyone was surrounded around them when they caught up to the people fighting. Th fight went on for a very long time. Alice jogged over there and pushed her self between the people and watched in disbelief. She was astonished that a person was fighting for 8 measly coins. The thief surrendered and the townsperson smirked. Just then the thief threw it to a person in the crowd and he started running. Then the original thief hit the townsperson and ran with the second. Alice ran up to the townsperson and said
" Are you okay?"
" a couple of cuts and bruises, sorry about your purse by the way"
" It's okay, but I needed it for a present for the Mayor"
" oh... The Mayor how much do you need"
" I can't take your money"
" No how much do you need? because that guy has been stealing money for weeks now I insist how much?"
" fine 5 coins but I will give it back to you"
" fine" as he gave her the 5 measly coins.
" I'm Renard Obelyn by the way and you shouldn't take you coin purse off your neck you know"
" Oh Alice Salsan" 3 down 5 to go. She took Renard's money and gave it to the store owner.
" Oh take the extra money you just got robbed, give it back to Renard"
" I will" as she took the scarf and headed towards Dimila. Dimila happily took it and ran for home shouting
" Meet me in a hour, Alice"
" Okay I will". Then Alice ran the the townsperson and was talking to the store owner
" I'm only a couple of coins off, I gave it the the girl that got her purse stolen by Farence and Esises Alderne come on Angmar please I'll pay you back tomorrow I promise"
"Let me help with that". As Alice gave Angmar the coins and got the change back. It was 2 coins. Alice gave the extra coins to Renard. 4 down 4 to go
" Thanks Alice"
" no thank you"
" Let me walk you home at least"
" I live over there Renard"
" I live over there myself". They talked little as they walked in the middle dodging the people walking in front of them.
" I live there". As she pointed to her house.
" Funny, I live there". As he pointed to the next house over.
" Thanks again" she said as she open the door to her house.
