Okay, so I am a little worried. I mean don't get me wrong I usually am fine, but Kat is like an hour late and the game is already close to half time. I have called her about 21 times already and she hasn't responded to any of them.
Right now we are all sitting on the sideline benches, meaning the team and I, waiting for like the 22 time for her to pick up. Next thing I know I am being called over by this nerdy kid. "Hey, do you know where Kat-t is, I need to tal-lk to her.." he stutters. I just shake my head and turn back around connecting eyes with Alex, shaking my head once again and holding up my iPhone 5. Disappointment, worry, and concern soon show themselves popping in to his blue eyes.
All the sudden, out of the corner of my eye I catch a silver truck I know to well. "KAT!" I scream at the top of my lungs making everyone turn their heads to where I was looking. Exiting her truck with her huge dog and WHAT IS IN HER HAND?!?!?!
I rush over to her and yank her hand open and look to see what she was holding. But there was nothing in it. "You do know it is rude to touch your best friend without saying a simple 'Hi how was your day today' first." she snickers. I just roll my eyes and look at Alex's old jacket that she got when we went to the fair for school. Trust me, he tried getting it back but she almost bit his hand off when he did, saying it was to 'comfy'. Anyways I think I am seeing things but that looks like a cat to me. "HAHA, um Kat this is going to sound funny, but there is a cat in that jacket.
Last time I checked Alex was allergic to cats. By the time we started walking back to the field considering we were in the parking lot- there was literally a crowd of relieved cheerleaders and a couple of football players at the gate. It was half time and I don't think Coach Blake could have stopped them even if he tried. That nerdy guy was also their to...weird. " Oh come on I wasn't even gone that long and you look like you guys are going to have a heart-attack already." She states once we finally arrive and walk passed the gate.
The rest of the game was more hyper and exciting now that Kat was here. She was running around the sidelines making us all laugh and smile. Everybody loves Kat, well most people, but they don't see that it was or it is just all an act. I'm the only one that knows what she is like when she is at home. Kat is like a mutt. Not in a bad way of course, but she's got so many personalities, some even I haven't seen. She always seems to surprise you no matter what or who you are.

WOW! Ha-ha, never knew I was so loved. Wait, did I just laugh in my head? Eh whatevaaaaa I got to much swag to care! No...no Kat...just, no. Okay, sorry I tried. Back to the game, my homies (animals) were playing in the corner and never mind now they are now in the middle of the field. WAIT! WHAT?!?! 'And as Kat runs to go get her furry friends she dodges all the football players coming at her and ignores all the calls of her name.' The guy on the intercom says in her mind. She quickly looks ahead coming face-to-face with what looks like a wall of muscle. SHIT!
