After I ran into Caleb. We walk down the hall together, trying to get to our class on time. I reach my History class and he heads to science.
"Sit by me at lunch." He says, then walks away.
Weird. He was so rude then he was nice. Shit. Now I'm curious. Great job Aria.
I walk into my class and sit in the back. The less I get noticed, the less trouble I get into.
I see my old friends walk in. I miss them but I can't have friends, I don't deserve them.
My chest hurts really bad from him beating me and running into Caleb. What stinks is that I am wearing a shorter shirt today, which means if I move in a certain way, it might be noticeable. Just. My. Luck.
History was boring as ever and so was Calculus, and Science (the classes before lunch). I walk into the lunch room and immediately spot Caleb. What could go wrong? He's the only "nice" person in this room so why not.
"Hey" I say, walking towards his table. By the way, the table is full of people, except for a seat next to him.
"Come sit" he says pointing to the seat next to him.
I walk over and sit in the seat. I pull out my lunch and open it. Shit. I dropped my sandwich.
I feel his eyes glued to me. Almost observing everything that I'm doing. I bent over to get it. I feel my shirt come up, and I see Caleb's eyes widen.
He grabs my arm and takes me out of the cafeteria faster than I can react to what he's doing.
"What the hell is this?!" He says, lifting up the bottom of my shirt, exposing the huge bruise.
"I walked into the counter, and I know it looks bad but I just bruise easily."
"I don't believe you." He says, examining me.
"Well then don't, I just want to finish my lunch, are we done here?"
"Yes"
We head back to the table and we eat in silence. I feel bad but he can't know. It'll mess everything up and then I'll get beaten worse.
The bell rang and I went to my next class, English. I hate English. It's the worst subject ever.
I walk into class and take a seat. The seat next to me empty, thank god. Then (of course) Caleb walks in, sharing a surprised look with me. He walks in and chooses to sit right next to me. There is a whole classroom full of desks and he sits next to mine?! Asshole. I can't handle this. I just want to get home and "deal" with my problems.
