Elena binked back tears at the memory. It wasn't easy thinking about her past life.
"Mommy?"
A little voice asked breaking Elena from her thoughts.
She turned to see Lexi looking up at her, eyes wide.
"Mommy,are you ok?"
"You were screaming "Why?"
Over and over in your sleep."
Had she been dreaming?
Elena smiled at the little girl.
"I'm fine sweetheart, I just had a bad dream, im ok."
"Was it about Great uncle?"
She asked.
Elena Sighed.
"Yes, but it's ok now, he's gone and he's never coming back."
Lexi hugged her mother.
"I love you mommy!"
Elena smiled.
"I love you too Lexi."
The two hugged For a while until it was time to go back to sleep.
"Goodnight mommy!"
"I love you."
"Goodnight sweety,
