Chapter 3

"Believe me now Kitten?"

I don't know what to do. Adam just turned into a-a beast! I stare at him in wide eyes and start to shake. What just happened? This dude just starts to shift into this huge wolf and acts like it's normal. Well let me tell you, it's not normal kiddo!

"Ja-" he took a step near me while I took a huge one back.

"Don't come near me!" My head was throbbing and all that was going through my mind was, Omg he just turned into a giant wolf!

" Jasmine let me explain." His handsome face is filled with concern.

"N-No! You just turned into that - into that beast!" Once I said it I immediately regretted it. His eyes turned gold and his voice became a beast.

"We are not a beast! We are a werewolf. Adam and I have been together as one since he was fourteen. Where's your wolf?" His voice was deep and it made me fall weak at the knees.

"U-Um I don't have one." I look into his golden eyes and can instantly fall in love with them. His breathe fans my face as I look up at him and he looks down. It's almost as if I'm the perfect size for him.

"Yes you do! I can smell her on you." I have a wolf? I have a wolf!

"What!" I was furious. Why would my parents lie about this. Why would they just let this roll. "Wait! Who are you?"

"Im James, Adams wolf." He smirked and placed his hands on his hips and puffed out his chest. It made me laugh.

"Oh." I didn't know what to say.

"One last thing. Adam won't let me do this so while I'm in control I'm going to do it?" He smirked and leaned me against a nearby tree. His long broad arms trap me against this hard tree. My arms are placed on his well defined toned chest and my heart is racing a mile a minute. What is going on?

"What is i-" I was cut off when lips crashed against mine. My first kiss is stolen! Not that I mind a hot guy kissing me. Tingles spread through my lips and sending chills down my spine. His tongue traces my bottom lip asking for entrance. I open my mouth letting his tongue slip through and him instantly winning dominance. His arms are wrapped around my waist and his chest amongst mine. Nothing could be a better first kiss. His eyes go back to normal, Adam is back.

We pull apart for air which I gladly accepted. "That was..."

"Amazing." He finished off panting. It was I could never thought about it another way. "Was that your first kiss?"

"No." I lied. A blush raised on my cheeks.

His eyes immediately went black and my back met the tree once again. He growled the most aggressive growl I've ever heard.

"Who was it? ILL KILL HIM!" Damn he's pissed.

"It was y-you." I bent my head down hiding my blush. Almost instantly two soft fingers brought my head back up.

"In sorry. I just can't have anything or anyone touching what's mine." He gave me a peck on the lips and in an instant he's gone.
I thought about it. Did he mean that I was his or was he a player just wanting to get inside my feelings and use me when the time is right.

I decide I'm going to skip school and go right home. All of this information is driving me crazy. I hop in my car and arrive home.

I open the house door so hard I thought it was going to break. Aunt Tammy instantly walks into the room with a worried look.

"Whats wrong ho-" I cut her off right away.

"Are you one?" Her face was shocked. Her brown eyes wide and her mouth open.

"One what?" Her hands were shaking and she kept moving on her feet. She knows that I know.

"ARE YOU ONE!" I dropped all of my items on this cold, tiled floor. Tears are streaming down my face and my face is trembling.

"Yes." She hangs her head down in shame. Her lips are trembling and her whole figure is shaking.

"Why wouldn't you tell me." It came out as a shaky whisper spreading through the thick air. Something wet dripped onto my head and I just realized I started crying.

"Because your mom wanted you to have a normal life. She didn't want you to come here in case you found your ma-" Her eyes became huge and her mouth parted. "D-Did you find your m-mate?"

"I don't know! A hot guy at school said I was his, there's tingles spread across my body when he touches me, I could get lost in his eyes." I look up at her. She has a look of surprise and happiness.

"Yes, he's your mate. I told your mom you should know the truth." She snaps her skinny fingers. "Wait! Who is he?"

"Um I believe his name is Adam Black." He gasp which caused me to jump. What's so special about him?

"H-He's the Alpha." Who the hell is the Alpha? "Your going to be a Luna!"

"What's an Alpha and what is a Luna?" She grabs my hand dragging me to the living room couch.

"Ok. Well all werewolves belong to packs and in order to control the packs there has to be a leader, which is an Alpha. The Alphas mate, the  Alpha female A.K.A the Lima, helps him. With a Luna by an Alpha's side, the Alpha and the pack get stronger." Wait! Adam is an Alpha and I'm his mate, that means.... I'm a LUNA! OMG

"Oh ok. Where's my wolf?" I want my wolf if I have one.

"Oh. Um your parents got a witch to lock your wolf inside the back of your head so you don't shift. If you want your wolf back you have to drink a potion. I have it in the closet. I'll be back." Aunt Tammy walked down the hall to where her closet is.

All I was think was... IM A WEREWOLF! That I only happens in twilight. I don't know how to process this in my mind. My thoughts soon end when Auntie walked back into the room.

"Ok. When you drink this you'll instantly shift. Shifting causes a lot of pain. Your bones with crack, break, and build bigger. Once you shift your clothes will rip apart. Are you ready?" She hands me a bottle that is rounded with purple, shimmery liquid inside it.

"I think." My voice is barley above whisper.

I unscrew the cork in the top and toss it to the side. I bring the soft smooth glass to the tips on my lips. The scent of lavender instantly fills my nostrils. Hopefully it tastes as good as it smells.

I look over to my Aunt who gives me a quick and quit nod. I tilt my head back with the bottle allowing the liquid to spur down my throat. Let me tell you, it smells a lot better than it tastes.

Soon tingles spread threw my body with an uneasy feeling. I look at my hands and see one of my fingers bend with pain with a loud snap. I screamed and held my hand close to my stomach hoping to ease the pain. Soon another finger snaps leaving me to let out another painful scream. I fall to the ground as I hear and feel my knee cracking and being placed another way. Sobs erupt threw my eyes and the pain is only becoming worse.

I hear the front door slam open and hear a voice that suddenly helped the pain. "WHERE THE HELL IS SHE?"

"Over here Alpha." I blink threw my tears to see Aunt Tammy bowing her head at Adam?

Adam quickly runs to my side holding my head on his lap with him whispering in my ear soothing words. "It's alright baby. Relax."

My head decides to get dizzy and before I black out I hear, "I don't think she's going to make it."

And I finally fell into a black world.
