The Ocean's Heart docked. The blue haired young man, the black haired young girl and the blonde man stood outside the door with the rest of the kids behind them.

"She's just inside. We'll wait out here for you." Sabo said. Ashe stared at the door.

"I want to meet her. I want to ask her about my mom. But you need to see your mom, Rogue. I'll wait here with everyone else." Ashe said and took a seat by Ryan. Sabo leaned against a tree.

With a deep breath, Rogue pushed open the door. He stepped inside the small cabin and looked around.

A table with some chairs in the center of the room. A couch off to the side. And a kitchen.

The sound of humming and the slicing of vegetables echoed. Rogue's eyes landed on the woman with blue hair at the stove, cooking.

"Are you hungry?" She asked. Rogue felt his heart speed up.

"Yes." He said.

"Take a seat. Lunch will be ready soon." She replied. Rogue took a seat. Was this his mother?

The woman with blue hair turned, then dropped the plates of food. Rogue stared at her.

"I'm sorry. You look so much like your father I almost thought you were him." She said. Yes. It was her.

Aoi.

"M-Mom." Rogue said. Aoi stared at him with tear filled eyes.

"My baby. My little Rogue. Look at you. All grown up, big and strong. Just like your daddy." She said. Rogue stood and walked to his mother. She smiled and tears filled her eyes.

"Just as tall as him, too." She said. She reached up and cupped his cheeks. She smiled brightly.

"Mom." Rogue whispered. Aoi hugged him tightly. Rogue hugged his mother tightly.

"Oh sweetie. I've missed you so much." She said. She pulled away. She played with his hair and stroked his cheeks.

"Oh, I remember the day I found out that I was having you. Your daddy was so excited. He wouldn't stop talking a out how excited he was to meet you. Every few nights I'd wake up around midnight and find him talking to you through my tummy." She said, tears slipped down her cheeks.

"Mom... I... I need to ask you somethings." Rogue said. Aoi lead Rogue to the couch and they sat down together.

"Mom.... What happened between you and Dad? Why did you leave me with Uncle Luffy? Where is Dad? Did... Did Dad betray you?" Rogue asked.

"Portgas D. Rogue, don't you ever say something horrible about your father like that!" Aoi's voice was stern. And scary. Rogue staired at her. She sighed. She stood up and walked over to a picture on an end table.

"Your father was a brat as a child. But I'm sure Sabo already told you that story." Aoi said.

"You know Uncle Sabo is here?" Rogue asked.

"How else would have found your way to me this soon? I saw Sabo five days ago and now your here? No way my message got to Luffy. You ran in to Sabo, Law and Aka on your way here." She said. Rogue nodded.

"Anyways, when your father was 17 years old, he left home and started his own pirate crew. Along the way, he stopped on the island I lived on with my aunt. I was the first member of his crew. I was the Doctor of the Spade Pirates. As time passed, the crew grew and we found ourselves here in the Grandline on a winter island. Meeting Luffy's hero and inspiration to be a pirate. Red Hair Shanks LeRoux.

"After that, we were on an island when we met a Fishman that was a warlord at the time. Ace was after Whitebeard's head. The warlord, Jinbei, refused to let him take it. For five days straight they fought. Finally, they passed out from exhaustion. Then Whitebeard appeared.
