Hey everyone. This unfortunately isn't an update, so I apologize. It's more of a informant.

I was driving with my dad today, right before my behind the wheel appointment. We were driving across a street when we heard a 10 second long screech followed by a crash. My dad told me to (very carefully) drive past the accident to see what happened and if anybody needed help. However, the police were already there, and it wasn't any good for me to be parked in a super busy street.

My dad told me to drive down a different street to avoid traffic, and I listened. But as I turned down another street, my foot somehow became stuck under the gas pedal. I drove up a curb and right into someone's porch.

I am okay, my dad is okay, the porch is okay. I'm just shaken up.

Let this be a good example of two things. One, never wear sandals if you are a not so experienced driver. My sandals were the reason I got stuck. Two, always, always, always wear a seatbelt. Had I not worn a seatbelt, I would have been seriously injured.

Updates won't be as frequent these next few days, as I'll need some time to recover from what happened. Please keep me and my family in your prayers. Thank you.

-Mikayla
