I'm very frustrated with everything right now. Currently Avery and I are getting a ride from one of her "friends" at school and it's one hell of an awkward situation. I personally can't stand him. We had a confrontation back in tenth grade about how he thought women should get paid less because in his words,' your better off stay at home moms.' He's one of those stupid sexist jocks that almost everyone has at their school; So yes a fuck boy. Since Roman basically ordered everyone to leave we had to find another way back to school, and unfortunately he was the only one that was available. I'm seething in my seat while Avery is trying to make small talk with her friend.

"So what are you guys doing out here all by yourselves? Young ladies should be protected by a man, like myself." Todd said seemingly trying to lecture us, but of course I had to say something.

"A man? Huh that's funny I don't remember you ever being one. All I see is an immature boy stuck in the 18th century. We can protect ourselves." I replied harshly.

"It's funny how you can say that to the person who is doing you a favor." He said smartly.

"A favor?!?! Your not doing me a favor, if you want you can take your damn favor and shove it-" I said before Avery abruptly cut me off.

"Oh look! We are passing the old theme park." She said over enthusiastically trying to cut the tension.

See if it was up to me I'd rather walk one million miles before I got in his truck, but Avery practically threw me into his faded green ford pickup truck as soon as she saw it. She knew I wouldn't willing go in. Anyway let me explain how we got here. As you know Avery was with Roman and I was with everyone else. Everything was fine and dandy until Roman burst in the library....

He walked over to us with so much anger. I almost got out my chair and bolted because the whole time he kept his eyes on me. I can feel the anger radiating from him. Everyone was so tense. He broke eye contact with me and glanced at everyone else and said....

"We have to go. Teper' . Nam nuzhna vstrecha ."

He said in the strongest accent I've ever hear come out from his mouth.

"I'm sorry K we have to go. I'll text you later okay." Eva told me in a rushed voice. Everyone got up and left.

What just happened. I stayed in my seat for five minutes before I quickly packed my stuff up and went outside only to see Avery sitting on the curb balling her eyes out.

"What happened to you?" I said as I sat on the curb next to her.

"I don't know! I just gave him directions to the sunflower field so it would be just us. He parked and asked where you guys were. I told him we'll meet up later, and I tried to drop hints but he was completely passive. Then he was on his phone vigorously texting the entire time. I got even more annoyed because he got a phone call and he started speaking Russian and completely ignored me. It looked a... a serious conversation but I didn't think it was that important! So I took his phone and hung up, before I could even get a word in he grabbed my hand that held the phone and looked at me with one on the most furious face I've ever seen. He was beyond enraged. He told me with a calm but dark voice, 'Do you even know what you just did? You can't even begin to understand how much fucking people you killed just from hanging up that phone! Your incompetence just cost you your life. If I find out something happened to moy otets. Your going raise hell. Vy vy ponimayete?'  I nodded my head in understanding even though I didn't really know what was going on. I was too scared to ask questions. He asked me again in a demanding voice where you guys were and I quickly uttered out the directions to library. He sped away rushing to get to you guys. The brief car ride was filled with stifling tension. When we got here he told me to get out and slam the car door behind him. I sat on the curb wondering what I did to piss him off so bad."
