As I reached the surface, I looked at my hands and sighed 'Alright Reimi...just focus on walking' Shinji said. I nodded and moved the controls forward slowly. I watched and smiled as I began to walk, before falling face first onto the ground. "Ow...." I rubbed my head and heard the sound of the other Eva coming up.
Suddenly, the angel had walked up to me and picked me up, its face terrifying me as it stared me down. "Ikari!!" The other pilot shouted as he began running toward me in his Eva. Without warning, the angel had grabbed my arm and began pulling it with force. I let go of the controls and screamed out in pain as the angel tore off the Eva's arm.
"Hold on Ikari!!" The other Eva had gotten a rifle and began shooting the angel to distract it, but it didn't budge. The angel simply extended its other arm to the pilot and shot it dead in the face. "Eva-11!!" I exclaimed before the angel had its hands around my Eva's neck.
Suddenly, everything went dark. I could still hear everything that was going on outside. My Eva had fallen and the angel was on the move to destroy the other Eva. "Get up..." I mumbled under my breath. Slamming my fist on the controls, my Eva suddenly burst to life, but I wasn't controlling it.
Eva-10 slowly stood up and faced the Angel, its eyes glowing red with destruction. The Eva moved toward the angel with incredible speed, screeching at it as if it were an animal. The Angel grabbed Eva-10 and threw it aside but the Eva insisted on staying up.
"What is going on? How are the pilots?!" Shinji asked worriedly.
"We don't know sir, their synchro rates have gone out of whack and we can't get a hold of them!"
Eva-10 continued to fight, becoming more ruthless as the time passed. It grabbed the angel by the neck and snapped it with just a quick twist of the arms. The Angel was unconscious and now lying on the floor with its core exposed. Eva-10 gladly took the opportunity to shatter the core, but the angel came back and with one screech, the angel had wrapped itself around Eva-10
"Its going to self destruct?!" Shinji exclaimed as memories began to flow back to him.
After the explosion, Eva-10 came out, slightly melted and yet in one piece. Eva-11 laid unresponsive until both of the Eva's were transported back.
I woke up in a hospital bed, my head bandaged. Slowly sitting up, I looked at my hand, the sound of metal crashing together echoes through my mind. "Im.... Alive...."
