67. Donghyuk

You're at the kitchen preparing ingredients for dinner when you heard loud foot steps running from upstairs. You didn't mind at all knowing that it's your children playing with each other. 

But there's a toddler sitting in her baby chair with you at the kitchen eating her snack. You smile looking at how adorable she is with her plastic fork in her little hands. 

"Mommy, when will daddy be home? I miss daddy.", your bubbly daughter start talking with some snacks in her mouth. 

"I'm not sure baby. Do you wanna call daddy and ask him?", you bent down so that you're with the same level as her. 

"Yes mommy! Let's call daddy! I miss him too!", your little boy said after he came down from the stairs with her sister. 

You smiled at your children and took your phone and dialed your husband's number. 

You tried calling him for 3 times but still no answer from him. 

"I'm sorry kids. Daddy must be really busy right now.", you can see the disappointment in your children's faces. 

Your little girl look at you, "Do you think daddy forget about us?"

"Yah! How can I forget about my precious babies?!", there, you see Donghyuk at the kitchen door with plastics of snacks.

The kids turned their heads around and run to their daddy's arm. Except for the toddlers because she's still stuck in her chair. Donghyuk make his steps towards her and pick her up giving her tons of kisses. 

You can't help but feel blessed at the view infront of you. 

You hugged your husband from behind and whispers, "Thank You."

He turned around, looking at you in the eyes and kisses you softly and say, "I love you."
