"(N/n) you're not gonna belive it but guess what!" A small brown haired boy squealed to a more tall (h/c) haired male, looking at Yoichi with a smile m/n ran his fingers through the brunettes hair.
Right now they were at (m/n)'s cozy apartment cuddling on the couch with m/n stroking yoichis hair, lately in the past few weeks he had begun to see his boyfriend of a few years come to class less and less and most times not even show up, he had begun worrying but he just tried to focus on the positives like how yoichi had that cute little smile on his face as if he was prepared to tell m/n a secret that would change his life-which to be honest he was-
"What is it love?" He asked after he examined all the features on yoichis face- a hobby he had started doing sometimes when they were together-
Smiling brightly yoichi sat up from his position on m/n's chest and faced him instead.
"I got accepted into the imperial Demon Army! Isn't that great m/n?~"
Feeling the happiness drain from his soul m/n looked away from yoichi for a moment to gather his thoughts
He had never really supported yoichi in joining the army, even worse the demon army! There was a reason they were called the demon army and m/n didnt want to get his 'adorable and innocent yoichi' as he called him involved in that type of world. But nonetheless he knew that this is what Yoichi wanted and that he had no right to stop him, he just hoped nothing bad happened to his love because he knew that if there was anything that happened to yoichi his world would crumble down, as he only had Yoichi left after everyone else he was close with either died by the disease because they were over the age limit or they got taken away becuase they were under that limit, it was only yoichi left to keep him sane, he knew it was selfish but he couldnt stop himself from depending on Yoichi for that.
Forcing himself to smile convincingly enough that Yoichi wouldnt notice he looked back up at yoichi hating the words but encouraging Yoichi anyway.
"Good job Yoi-Chan, you've been working to get in for years~! I Guess they finally noticed your talent Ne~"
"I have to go meet up with my team now, Ill be sure to do my best and come back to you as soon as my mission ends so dont worry~" rushing up yoichi did a mock salute before running out the door to what seemed to be a car being driven by a pink haired male while a smaller girl was being hit by a blonde for telling the blonde that they had a crush on a person named Yuu.
Looking back at his couch m/n lightly tugged at his hair with a frown before turning over to get some sleep and hopefullyf see his lover safe again in the morning.

   Yoichi, sweet little Yoichi hadnt been back to him or contacted him in five days. He had begun to freak out to the point of panic attacks but kept calming himself down with the hope that, one more day, just one and yoichi would come back to his arms smiling and telling him stories about his adventure while m/n listened slowly beginning to warm up to the army and think that it wasnt really a bad choice, but yet the world didnt work like that and m/n was losing all his hope quickly, he even started blaming himself for not joining instead of yoichi and reassuring yoichi that it would be for the best.
Right now m/n was sitting in class twitching in his seat and glancing at the clock, waiting for the bell so he could go home, sit down and begin his daily ritual of waiting for the saint that is yoichi.
Taking a deep breath in he held in a yelp when he heard the intercom suddenly turn on.
"M/n L/n To the principals office please. I repeat M/n L/n To the principle office."
Shaking his head for getting so scared he shakily stood up, wondering why they called him and dismissing all his negative thoughts on what it could be he walked to the door and out into the hallways walking staright before turning right he saw the principals office waiting for him nearby. After staring at it for a   Couple of minutes he walked up to the door hesitating before he turned it open revealing his principle sitting there and the slight pity in their eyes that m/n happened to catch a glimpse of. 'That was just my imagination though. R-right?'
Sitting down on the chair that was pulled up in front of the principal he prepared himself mentally for what he was about to be told.
"Mr.L/n you are the boyfriend of Saotome right?" Clenching his hand into a fist he forced himself to look into the principals eyes.
"Yes, i am. Is he back from the a-army?" Taking in the pitiful look on his principals face he started shaking.
"Yesterday at around four the rest of him team came back, they reported that Saotome was killed in the middle of the night by a starving vampire." Wiping at his eyes with the end of his sleeve m/n smiled forcefully.
"T-that isnt true r-right. Haha, yoichi you can come out now, i know your probably in that closet right?" Meeting noting but silence and another pitying look he dropped him smile. Stood up and all but yelled at the principle."take me to hi right now!"
Thursday 13th 2013, 9:21 am
Standing at the side of the hole he watched as the body of his love was slowly placed inside, holding back all him screams that would have surely escaped that were along the lines of  "dont put him in that filthy thing, my yoichi deserves so much more," and "how dare you now protect him you imbecile" which was more directed at himself then the Shinoa squad who stood gloomily at next to him weeping amongst each other. Oh how much m/n would give to have someone hwo he could cry on at this moment, but of course the only person that would let m/n do that was being buried at this moment.
'Why is the world so cruel, just as things were starting to get better why did the world suddenly decide to pull this on us, if there is a god then he must be truly awful to let us be happy for a short time, before quickly ripping that happiness from us as if we were toys made to be played with.'
That night and the night before were the most horrible nights of m/ns life. He had cried so much he was covinced that if he had tried he cloud have made a river with all the tears he let out.

Tuesday 11th 2016 7:36 pm -present day-
Walking through the many graves at the used to be park a h/c male studied the roses in his hand.
Halting to a stop the male kneeled on the ground placing them on top of a stone in the ground that read "Yoichi Saotome, Death-Tuesday 11th 2013 Earth lost an angel on that day."
Running a hand over the smooth stone he chuckled bitterly. "Its been a while hasn't it? A lot has happened in the days you've been gone, and i wish you had been there to enjoy the days with me, you know how i was hesitant about the army? Well a week after the last time i visited you last time i tried out for it and now im part of the same squad that you died in. Crazy isnt it?" Feeling a tear run down his eye he wiped it away before continuing "you should have been there, just last week Shinoa found out where Yuu lived and dyed his hair blue in his sleep, he was so pissed, im surprised he didnt wake up but he has always been a heavy sleeper." Laughing at the memory he looked at the grave again "goddamnit, its just not fair! I should have been the one to protect you but i never even tried!" Breaking out into a sob he sat down and poured his heart out to the body of his loved one before he shakily stood up "thanks for always being there for me yoi-chan~ but i better get going now, yuu might get angry again if im late."
Looking at the grave one last time the H/c male stood up going back to the directing he came from, not being able to notice the ghost of his standing there with tears of their own waving before they disappeared.
"See you soon M/n."
