I walked out of English with a lukewarm feeling. Maybe this year won't be so bad...
"Hey dork" a voice hissed and I abruptly felt like my blood was replaced by ice water.
"What do you want?" I replied hoarsely.
"That cute Ben guy will never be interested you!" She said the last word mockingly, as if I looked like the Blair Witch.
"I don't have any feelings for the new kid." I retorted
"Oh yeah, it's totally not obvious at how you look at him. It's disgusting. You stare ar him with such desperation and need, it's pathetic."
I growled in response, but Ashley did strike me hard. Was it true that it was obvious? Was my exterior starting to thaw?
Oh no I'm going to have to avoid Ben at all cost!
