Feeling confused more then ever it was impossible to focus on Mr. Crandalls Class of Self Preservation.

Normally I was sucker for A's and definitely paying attention, and since Erica was in this class I would normally try to impress her...

However after that encounter with Ashley I was a mess...I didn't know if going out with her would be for the best of fitting in for this academy, since she was popular and hella cute and plus my life was endanger since I was already living bait after all...

The suddenly a notebook slapped right next to mine awakening me from my  deep thoughts...

It was the one and only Erica Hale.

"H-hey, um didn't know you like sitting in the front now..." I choked out as best as I could.

Evidently annoyed at my reaction Erica simply rolled her eyes and plopped next to me.

"So busy thinking about Ashely's generous offer..." she said with quite a lot of disdain. I wasn't sure not if this was her actual tone or perhaps a tint of...jealousy?

"Um...how would you know about that?" I asked as calmly as I can, the last thing I wanted the girl I liked to know was about how another girl asked me out.

"I'm a spy, its my job to know things..." she simply stated

"R-right-"

"Anyways I didn't come here to jabber about you're extremely boring love life, in fact I just wanted to say that it will be tonight we'll be commencing our own mission..." she said to me in something even quieter than a whisper.

"Which is?" I said my annoyance with her statement quickly turning into anxiety.

"Remember, we're breaking into the Principle's office." she hissed.

"Well how about another night..." I tried to say as un-cowardly as possible, since after all I wasn't willing to hangout with Erica, if it meant risk of death or expulsion.

In fact just to think of it I'd rather go out with Ashley, despite no experience going out at all, just because of the safety.

Seeming to read my thoughts however, Erica gave me a rather cold expression.

"Well if you want to run around with you're little redhead girlfriend go ahead, but if you rather want to keep yourself alive for one day more, I would suggest that you would follow me tonight and assist me in saving your ass!" she said with quite indication that she wasn't going to deal with any bullcrap.

Before I could object however, the bell rang for the next class, and though I tried to catch up to her, Professor Crandall called out to me.

"Mr. Ripley, I need to desperately talk to you."

Before I could fully turn around however, a ninja star clipped my book bag.

And suddenly self preservation class suddenly took a whole new twist, and so did my stomach.
