"mandela effect" jimin almost choked. this girl is beautiful and knows her conspiracy theories. sunny was the whole package.
jimin smiled at the delicately drawn sunshine in his mug before sipping it away into his mouth, thinking about his life. what was he doing with sunny? he wasn't over her yet. he wasn't sure if he ever would be, he had poured his emotions into months of their relationship just to watch it slip away. maybe sunny was a distraction from the hurt he felt, and maybe he knew that it would hurt her, but he wanted her to love him with all the effort he had loved yeun-ja. he wanted to feel really loved for once in his life, and he didn't care if it would hurt anyone. because he was tired of always being the one hurting.

sunny fishes deep into her bag to open the keys to her tiny apartment. "im home!" she shouts once she opens the door to her home. two pairs of feet run into the hallway to greet her, "noona! guess what i made in school today," was the first thing to come out of the seven year olds mouth, "look!"
sunny flung her heavy shoes off and bent down to greet her two brothers, "let me see, munchkin." the youngest pulls out a peice of paper from behind his back. it was a drawing of three people, with the words "my family" scrawled in messy writing at the top.
"its wonderful, taeyong! that's you, that's me and that's dae! im so proud of you baby," she kisses the top of his head and looks at her other brother, who was only thirteen. "hey dae, did you get home from school okay?"
the three of them make their way into the cramped kitchen where sunny would make them dinner, "yeah noona. it was okay, but tae's teacher asked where you were again. she says she's worried about you."
dae was concerned. he was always concerned these days about sunny. about the hours she worked on top of keeping up with school and looking after the two of them. sunny unpacked two wrapped up cookies from the coffee shop, sighing "its alright dae, ill be coming to parents evening soon so they will know im holding on. now, look what i smuggled out for your pudding!" she excites the littlest.
ever since sunny was sixteen she has raised her siblings, due to her parents passing away in an accident. if it wasn't for the responsibility of the two boys she probably wouldn't have held on so long, maybe not even at all. but her brothers give her a reason to keep going.
she was working double shifts at the coffee shop every day, even on weekends, to save up for her brothers' college tuition. she had decided against college. there was no way she would be able to get the grades, money, or time to get a college education. she didn't mind. she just wanted her siblings to have a better chance then her.
she started making her ramen, and while she waits for the noodles to cook she sticks taeyong's drawing to their empty fridge with a magnet, mumbling away to herself.
this is kind of terriblé i hate myself but it's getting more into the story... i lowkey have no idea where this is going.
