Frozen Heart

Chapter two

Mia's POV 

As I walk around the town, people wave and smile at me. I wave and smile back at them. The people of this town are so nice, but unfortunately I don't really know what it is, but whenever I get close to someone...I don't know it's like I want to let them in, but with every fiber in my being is telling me not too. It's like my mind is not allowing me to care...and it's all because of this stupid curse.

I don't wanna be like this anymore. I wanna get married like the rest of my sisters, but no I can't. I would kill to be a normal human being. Why am I being punished. I've done nothing wrong, I've tried to be good all my life. I've done so much for everyone, the whole town, and yet I'm stuck with this curse.

As I continue to walking around, my necklace starts to glow a bright blue. It's like it was pulling me into a certain direction. I followed the direction it was pulling me into. As I got closer to wherever it was taking me, I saw a man with dark brown hair, and baby blue eyes. He had a perfectly scalped face. He was the most handsomest man I had ever saw in my entire life. What I saw next, was him coming in my direction with a dark blue glowing necklace. Kinda like mine but a darker shade of blue.

When he got closer he noticed me and smiled. We both started walking twords eachother. Our necklaces stopped glowing when we were directly in front of each other. The feeling was so weird I couldn't explain it. He finally spoke.

"H-Hi my names Max, and you are", he spoke a little nervously.

"Hehe, my names Mia, it's nice to meet you good sir", I said with a smile.

"It's nice to meet a beautiful lady like yourself", he said with a smirk.

AHHH so he's a flirt...

"Haha thanks", I say as he takes my hand and kisses it.

"...this is so weird though, my necklace never glowed before", he says.

"Yeah same...why would it glow and take me to you", I ask.

"I don't know, but I'd like to know the same thing", he sighs.

"...how'd you get that necklace", I asked.

"I don't really know, all I really remember is being curesed as a child", he says.

I stare at him in shock. "I was curesed as a baby too", I said.

"Now this is even weirder...", he says.

"Yeah...oh my I've been gone for too long, I have to go I'm so sorry to cut this short", I say.

"It's quite alright, I should get going too, it was nice meeting you miss Mia"

"And to you as well", I say running all the way back home.
