Chapter 3

"Welcome back, Jamie!" Tamaki said loudly.

I looked up at him as he lead me into the music room. The rest were already there and around the room. They were all talking about something amongst each other. Mori lifted his head when he heard Tamaki. Tamaki put his hand on my shoulder and I looked up at him.

"Tell me, what do you want to do today?" He asked.

I looked at Mori and motioned for him to come here. He walked over here and I started to sign.

'I need you to translate for me, please?' I asked.

Mori nodded and I turned to Tamaki.

'I wanted to finish exploring the rest of the school.' I signed as Mori translated. 'I haven't finished yet and I would like to know where all the rooms are incase I have to go there. Besides, I love exploring.'

Tamaki gasped. "Exploring? You mean we get to be your guides? Oh, this'll be so much fun!"

I looked up at Mori in confusion. Mori just shrugged. I looked back at Tamaki as he continued to talk.

"So!" He started. "For today, the Host Club will give you a grand tour of the school! How much have you explored?"

'The first floor and the few rooms on my schedule.' I signed. 'There's still so much more I need to do.'

"Right you are!" Tamaki said.

"So we'll be giving Jamie a tour of the rest of the school?" Kyoya asked.

"But why?" Hikaru asked.

"Why not let him explore himself?" Kaoru added.

"Because." Tamaki said. "We must let our deaf Canadian commoner feel welcomed to our school."

Commoner?

"Besides." Haruhi added. "It'll be fun taking time away from all the girls to help Jamie. I still don't even know all the rooms."

"Oh, this'll be so much fun!" Tamaki said. "A grand adventure through the school grounds. A great exploration for our dear friend!"

I tugged on Tamaki's jacket. He looked down at me.

'If you don't mind, I'd like for it to be quiet.' I signed. 'I know I can't hear, but it's hard to read all your lips when you all talk so much.'

"Oh my!" Tamaki shouted. He then leaned towards me and grabbed my hands. "I'm so sorry! I didn't realize how much of a trouble it would be for you! All of us talking at once! It must be such a chore for you to keep up with us! I promise, I will try my best to make sure you can be a part of our conversations!"

I raised an eyebrow. Tamaki smiled widely. Sudden realization covered his face. He quickly let go of my hands.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" He said.

'It's okay.' I signed. 'Just please don't grab my hands again.'

"Of course." Tamaki said as he bowed. "I'm so sorry for being inconsiderate."

I patted Tamaki's head and chuckled. I turned to Mori and started to sign.

'Can you help me if they do start talking?' I asked. 'I want to be able to talk to them.'

Mori nodded and I smiled.

'Thank-you.' I signed.

Mori smiled slightly as well. I felt my pocket vibrate and fished out my phone. It was a text from Caleb.

:Boy Twin:

hey jamie!! :)) where r u? ur late. :(

I chuckled. Caleb is terrible when it comes to typing. Although, he can make a pretty good essay paper. I started texting back.
