Same day,Same morning, but the place and scene was completely opposite..

She was made to stand near a window. She then stared at the Golden Sun rays with no thoughts as it slowly entered the room. Radhika moved her face from the Sun rays to see her mom who was turning the whole room upside down to search one lost Jhumki (Earrings)..

Radhika is in 3rd grade and was getting dressed as Radha to perform at the same school celebration with Hrishi as Krishna..

Radhika sighed as she heard her mother's mumble..

' Who the hell asked you to join in these cultural events?'
'Who asked you to dance?..'
'Where is this other Jhumki,? I just saw the other one here.. it's one of my favourite's...!!'
'It's getting late already..'
Leelavathi moved the things around her and continued searching hastily..

'You must be a mad Woman with no senses!..' a voice behind Leelavathi made her angry.

Radhika saw her dad. Balakrishnan was standing near the door and was adjusting his tie. Radhika found her lost smile while seeing her dad..In fact Radhika's beautiful eyes shined like a star and felt Happy seeing him.

'What Bala? What did you say? I have no sense?' Leela shouted angrily at him.
'No,No..Leela.. I din mean that..' he replied apologetically.
'Then? What did you mean?..' she replied.
'Nothing.. I don't remember what I said.. forget it.. Whatever you are looking is on the mirror table..the shiny golden thing.. look there..!'
Leela doubted for a moment and was surprised to see the golden Jhumki..

'Thank God..Come here,Radha.. You're nearly finished with dressing and make up.. just touch up again and some lipstick to your cute little lips..' she smiled at her. Radhika nodded her head and smiled at her dad.

Balakrishnan came closer to her daughter and gave her a tight hug. His eyes also shined like a star seeing her.
'You are the most beautiful Radha..I have ever seen.. Radhika.. my beloved child.. What do you want your daddy to buy for you?'
Radhika was tremendously happy and told 'Nothing,daddy..' in her sweet voice.

'Not-a-thing?' Bala asked amusedly, she nodded her head smiling at him.

'Will you come to the cultural event Bala, to see her performance?' Leela asked pathetically seeing her daughter's brightened face.

'No,Leela..I have very important meeting today!..I can't.. you know me well..and I think it's your chance to develop interest in these type of events and encourage our daughter!' Bala slapped the answer back on her face.

'What?..You think I discourage her? You think I will cut her wings? No,definitely not! I will give her all freedom once she grows up..She likes you more than me! I don't know what magic spell you put on her! She will be happy when she sees you there!' she blurted her reply faster.
'Bala.. please..try to come.. for our daughter..!' she said in a very concerned tone.

'You speak good Leela.. anyways.. You know what? Any kid could differentiate who is good and who is acting good!..I can't come.. my daughter will definitely understand me!..BYE Leela!..Love you Radha..! Ummmmaaaaaaa!!!' he threw a flying kiss towards his daughter and hurried like a hurricane..

Frustrated Leela shouted loudly..
'Just because I'm shouting and getting angry often doesn't make me a bad person.. I love our daughter and You to the core.. You people see only the thorns I bear not the sweetness in me.. it's just that I don't know how to express it like you..You dumb!!..' as she was saying she could hear the door was slammed and she felt the emptiness in their flat..she understood Bala has left...

Radha wiped the tear in her mother's eyes while Leela placed a small dot on Radhika's cheek with a mascara. Leela smiled at her and hugged her.
In a soft voice..
'Sorry, my darling..Come.. it's getting late..'
She then stood up and took Radhika's hand in hers..

'Let's go.. I guess Viki must be waiting for us..' she said and both of them left their apartment.

Viki opened the car door and both of them hopped in.
As the car moved... Radhika emptily stared the passerby and for some unknown reason, sadness engulfed her face.
