Radhika won the 'Best Performer' award for her dance performance and got 2nd Place in the Children's day celebration..The first place was won by her school pupil leader Anandh of 12th standard.

She was siting under a tree and was staring at the small trophy which had the words 'Best Performer' on it..

She saw her watch it was 4.45 pm.. and wished Viki to come early to pick her up..With no thoughts she emptily stared at the trophy again..
She felt some one was standing in front of her..She then looked up and realised who he was..

Hrishi waved his hands 'Hey..' he said..
'Hello' she said in a soft voice..
'Lost in thoughts?..' he enquired
'No..No.. Why?'
'I thought you are upset that you didn't get 1st place..'
She smiled at him..and said..
'I'm happy for Anandh bhaiya..
and definitely I'm not upset about what place I got..
I danced with all my heart out..

He smiled..
'Of course.. We..I..' Hrishi stopped and then he continued..
'Shall I see the trophy?..' he extended his hand.
'Sure..' she handed it to him..
He read 'Best Performer... 2nd place..'
He then said..
'It's cute actually when compared to Anandh bhaiya's trophy!.. Congratulations..'

Radhika laughed.. 'Cute huh..? Hmm.. Thank you..'

'Waiting for the car to pick you up?..'

'Yes..it's getting late.. He usually comes by 4.15 itself..'

' I'll give company..till he Comes..!'

' It's okay..you can leave Hrishi..' she smiled

'No.. Radhika.. anyway today our physics mam is absent and no tuition today! So..' he smiled

Hrishi was feeling tensed.. he looked at Radhika..she seemed exhausted and her eyes seemed it needs sleep like a medicine.. she some what looked different to him and from her face he could understand there was something disturbing her..

After a few minutes of silence..

'Hrishi..
you forgot to ask me whether I need notes for missed classes..?' she smiled..

He didn't understand first but later he realised she remembered the last year's incident.. he tried to hide his smile and said..

'I thought you got it from Nithya..!'

'Nope.. I didn't see her today..'

'You still remember what I asked you last year..?' he gave a surprised look at her..

'I had a feeling that you would find me and ask..!' she smiled and looked into his eyes..
Both their eyes met for a second.. she then turned her head when she heard the sound of car horn..

'I have to go..driver bhaiya came.. Bye Hrishi..'
When she was taking her things and turned to leave she heard him say..

'Radhika..can we be friends..?'

Hrishi don't know what got inside him as he blurted those words.. He felt relieved as he finally said those words to her..

'We are already Friends.. Hrishi..!!' Radhika gave a surprised look at him and smiled..

Hrishi mumbled himself..'Oh my god..are we?..from when?..'

When he looked..he saw Radhika had walked towards the car..
He gave a confused look when she turned to see him..

'I'll find you this Saturday!..' she said and didn't wait for his response, hopped in the car..

'Bye Radhika..' He waved his hands and the car left.

He kicked the ground..
'What an Idiot..I am..!
not knowing we are already Friends for these many days?..
I should have talked to her way back.. I'm an idiot..!!'
he then unlocked his bicycle, he saw the watch it was 5.09 pm..

He rode the bicycle wondering..
'Is she going to find me?..!!
Hmm..
Let me see..'
