I don't know about you but it turns me off a book so fast. It's boring. You need something to make the person sit straight in there seat! example:
The felt the water trickle down my back, as I pulled the towel tighter around me.
Bam, it's a writing orasgm right there! And the person will be hooked. Remember you are writing for yourself and thousands of people all over the world. Be happy about what you write.
Now if you still have no idea what to write as an opening. Read other books. See how they started there books. And I promise you the ones that have 02928738272626 reads. Do not start with name: blah blah blah age: blah blah blah... You get the point!
