So, Throughout the story, Hayoung is suffering from "psychosis". That experience non bizarre delusions which invloved situations that can occur in real life like meeting Sehun and being together. But in reality, the situations are highly exaggerated and just in imagination.
So through the whole story, from meeting an old woman to the dusts and to being sehun's wife was part of Hayoung's illness.
She haven't met Sehun and she kept on insisting that they were together so she needs to go to the rehab to cure her illness. But she stays the same.
