Eren's POV

I spent most of my time with Levilina as something told me that she somehow was special to me and still couldn't find out what was that about. I needed answers for these weird feelings but how?

After the train of thoughts were done, I noticed someone was putting his dirty fingers on her, slowly holding her skirt up. She looked uncomfortable but couldn't stop him. That made me mad. I meant pure rage or even snap in an instant.

"Hey! What do you think you are doing to what is mine?" I hissed at the unrecognizable student.

"This beauty belongs to you? Do you expect me to believe you, a dick to be in love with her?"

That was fucking it. Something snapped in me and made me punch the douche in the gut way too hard. It made him bleed real badly and his nose must be broken by my attack. He backed up and ran away.

"Are you okay, Levilina?" I asked as she was widened at what I just did.

"Yes. Thank you." She said and wrapped her arms around me. I hugged back friendly.

Levi's POV

I felt so happy for him helping me out. Suddenly, I had the courage to confess my feeling to him after being with him for so long.

"Eren." I called out. He hummed in response and looked at me, doing an eye contact with mine.

"I like you." I said out with a light crimson red blush on my cheeks.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I don't have any such feelings toward you. I am in love with someone else and that person is no longer here." He said and felt a little guilty.

"Why? Why don't you love me? Am I not enough for you?!" I yelled at him but his face remained the same which was sadness.

"Sorry, Levilina. I really do love this person but both of us can be best friends. No more than that and that is the finals." He said while scratching back of his neck.

"Oh fuck you!"

With that, I ran away from the school gates and to the back alley where he couldn't see me. I sat on the hard cemented road and put my legs up. I planted my face on my knees and cried my hearts out.

I heard hard footsteps coming nearer and nearer to where I was and had the confidence to look up. There was at least three shadowed figures looking down at me and that was when my vision blacked out. All I felt was darkness and coldness.
