(Rylan’s point of view)

My heart skipped a beat, after telling her mother who I was I saw her walking down the stairs, and if she was beautiful before she must be stunning now. Wrapping my arms around her waist she looked at her mum and nodded. There are two types of girls, ones that don’t care if their parents see them with their boyfriends, and ones that do the majority mind so when she looked at her mum I stepped back a bit. Walking us towards the door she said goodbye to her mum and we left. Helping her into the car I was handed a pair of shoes. Shaking my head I got in the driver side. She was friking hot just sat there, so much leg showing I really wanted her, badly. Closing my eyes I breathed out.

“What’s with the shoes?” I asked

“Oh you expect me to walk around in these all night” she asked pointing at her heels. Well I didn’t know there just shoes, smiling I put them in my jacket pocket.

“Ready?”I asked her, she nodded so I drove on towards the restaurant. Watching her every move in the car journey was crazy, she just focused on the road ahead, smiling now and then, and sometimes glimpsing at me.

“Are you ok?” I asked, she nodded. “Seriously Rosie, what’s wrong?” I pressed the situation.

“You’re not going to let this drop are you?” shaking my head she breathed out, then looked to the window “This is my first date” She whispered. Smiling I turned to her,

“Let’s make it memorable then?” pulling in her lips she relaxed a bit and nodded, sitting in the chair comfortably.

Parking the car in a parking spot by the restaurant, I grabbed my jacket and climbed out the car helping Rosie out we walked hand in hand towards the restaurant.

“I have a table booked, under Gate” I said to the lady, whilst handing my jacket to her for her to put away.

“This way please” she said after putting away my jacket. Wrapping one arm around Rosie we followed the lady towards the table, pulling open Rosie’s chair I tucked her in leaving a kiss on her cheek and sitting in my seat. Opening the menu I looked through it, once the lady came back we ordered our food and sat there starring at each other. Leaning forward I grabbed her hands in mine and started lacing our fingers together, they fit perfectly I thought.

“Rylan’’

“Rosie” we started speaking at the same time,

“You first” she nodded. Smiling I looked straight into her eyes,

“You have really pretty eyes you know” biting her lip she looked away,

“Thank you” she whispered, smiling I continued,

“And it’s not just your eyes, or your hair, or even your personality, it’s all of you” sighing I couldn’t take my gaze from her “what I’m trying to get to here is, well ya know, do you wanna-”

“Yes” she smiled “If you’re asking me to be your girlfriend, I say yes” letting out a deep breathe, I nodded and smiled.

“Good, that’s great, uhh fantastic”

“One condition though” she said

“Yes? Anything?”

“We let everything settle in before we go public; I mean you can tell like your close friends or whatever but ya know” she shrugged nodding I knew exactly what she meant.

Two hours later, after laughing, talking and exchanging looks, dinner was over. Clutching her waist as we walked towards the reception, I held her protectively knowing she’s mine and I’m hers. Taking my jacket from the lady we left the restaurant hand in hand, side by side.
