Chapter 11

(Rylan’s point of view)

After finding the perfect gift I went down stairs with the guys.

“Ready now?” Rex asked

“Yer” I sighed running down to the basement undoing the safe, I took out my gun tucking it behind my trousers I met the guys out front “I’m driving” I shouted

“No” Rex shouted grabbing the keys “I am” shaking my head I sat in the passenger seat.

Once we reached the woods we climbed out the car and headed towards the centre. I didn’t see him first, I smelt him. I may do ‘dealing’ (protecting my land from morons) sometimes but at least I didn’t smell like a puny weed human like him.

“Rylan, we meet again” looking up I saw Jake with a baseball bat.

“Ok Jake, all we want is to talk”

“What do you want to talk about? How about that loverly girl you have at your hip” flinching at the fact he knew Rosie I held myself back,

“I don’t know what you’re going on about mate”

“Really? I think her name is Rosie”

“You leave her out of this you prick” and I guess that pushed his buttons, smashing the bat around my head I blacked out and fell to the floor. Once I came around I saw the fight, jumping to my feet I kicked the guy in the ribs that was on top of Chris. Grabbing the guy that was fighting Ben I threw him to the ground, making my way over to Jake I pulled my gun out and held it to his head. “Move and I pull the trigger you know I’ll do it” everyone stopped dead and I smashed the barrel of my gun into Jake’s head making him fall to the ground

“Ok, I’m going to give you one warning” taking off the safety latched I pointed it at his face “Back off, I never want to see you again” nodding his head violently I tucked away my gun and walked off the guys following behind me. Getting in the car I started it and zoomed home, entering the house I chucked the keys on the sofa and went up the stairs to my room heading straight for the bathroom I checked my head

“Bugger” I sighed touching it. Rosie is going to kill me or not. Finding my shades I put them on seeing it covered most of the bruising I spiked up my hair and slid on my snap back, there I sighed she would never know changing my clothes I went down stairs and looked for my phone

“Who’s got my phone?” I asked the guys in the kitchen

“You left it in the car, I put it on the table” Sam said nodding I went and got it, 1:15. Sighing I knew I had to go get Rosie. Running back into the kitchen I got the guys attention “Can um, one of you drop me off at the garage? My car’s fixed and I want to take Rosie for a spin” scratching my neck I could see the grin’s on their faces,

“Yer, you only want to take her for a spin right” Rex laughed

“Shut up man, I got to get her from school”

“Ok I’ll take you, I got to get Melissa cause I’m taking her out and these three (He pointed to Sam, Ben and John) are going out drinking and he’s taking out Sophia, so you got the place to yourself mate.”

Nodding I walked towards the front door and waited for Rex to open the thing. Once opening the passenger side I got in and waited, in the mean time I checked my face in the mirror to see if the bruise was visible thanking god it wasn’t I shut the mirror. Once arriving at the garage I signed some stuff and got my car checking it I nodded in happiness. Driving up to the school I sat in the car park by the entrance and as she walked out the door I honked the horn.
