A/N
Okay so keep in mind that this is still the morning after their movie night. Just not from Halyeon's perspective
Enjoy
Warm
That's the first thing Taekwoon feels when he awakes, the unusual heat confusing him for a second before fogginess clears from his mind and he remembers where he is and who he's with
He takes a glance down and sure enough, there's Hakyeon with one arm draped over his face and the other hanging over the bed. His legs are strewn haphazardly, taking up most of the room and he has a seriously hard time not laughing when he sees the puddle of drool collecting on Hakyeon's pillow
The added warmth, plus the already stifling heat of the room in general has him squirming under the covers to free himself, halting when Hakyeon begins to stir and turns his back to him and after a second he lets out a sigh of relief when he begins to lightly snore
He smiles at the sight of him, hands wrapped around the duvet as he snuggles them up to his chin, shaking his head in the realisation that it's not socially acceptable to stare at people while they sleep, he stretches and throws the duvet off him
He lets out a low sigh when he's finally out of the covers, scratching mittens -who lays at the bottom of Hakyeon's feet- behind the ears as he passes by her, making his way down the stairs and into the living room, where he finds Jaehwan. Chipper as always, watching an all too familiar anime
'Not another Hyuk' he internally groans, remembering all the times the younger had bombarded him with news of his latest 'interesting' animes
"Morning Hyung, there's fresh coffee just been made in the kitchen, Hakyeon will usually wake in about half an hour to an hour and well I don't really know when Wonshik will wake" he trails off, scratching the nape of his neck
"Never, if you don't wake him up. Beware though, he doesn't take too well to being woken from his 'precious slumber'. If he slaps you I suggest slapping him back. Always works with me" he replies not even sure himself if he's kidding
"That's fine. I've had to deal with Hakyeon's sleepy violence for some time now, I'm sure Wonshik will be easy enough" Jaehwan grins, following him to the kitchen
"You say that now but when he tries to murder you, don't say I didn't warn you" he pours them both a cup of coffee not bothering to ask if he'd even like one and Jaehwan takes it with a grateful smile
They stand there, Jaehwan's anime long forgotten as they sip their coffee peacefully
"It's almost Christmas" Jaehwan takes a moment to heave a sigh before giving him one of his blinding smiles "what are you doing over the holidays?"
"Probably nothing. Mums away on a business trip and won't be back till late January. Although there's nothing new there" he tries not to sound bitter but given the sympathetic smile he's receiving from Jaehwan, he must be doing a terrible job
"What about your dad?"
"No" there's a warning in his tone and Jaehwan doesn't pry, instead he wraps an arm around him, grinning like he's won an award for the most amazing idea ever
"You can always stay with us over the holidays. I could use a hand in the kitchen, lord knows Hakyeon can't cook to save his life and no one should be alone on Christmas"
"I'm not alone... I have Leo"
"Your cat?. No that's not what I mean, I mean Human company. Y'know someone you can talk to and vice versa"
