Chapter 4

Hakyeon can't really recall how he had gotten home or how he had gotten into his bed, although judging by the fact that he's still in the clothes he wore last night, he guessed he was too tired last night to change and went to slept straight away

He glances blearily around his room, eyes falling on the table beside his bed, where two small pills and a bottle of water are placed

Pulling himself into a sitting position as he reaches for the water guzzling it down with the pills, he finishes the rest of the contents with a satisfied sigh, laying back down he snuggles into his pillow, only to crease his eyebrows in confusion when his hand brushes up against something and he lifts his pillow to find a folded piece of paper

"Don't be alarmed, I brought you home. Jaehwan is also in his bed, take the pills they'll help with your head. Apparently you have quite a low alcohol tolerance"

He smiles to himself, making a mental note to thank him next time he sees him. He takes a look at his alarm clock and flops back onto his bed, making what could only be described as whale noises when he realises it's only 7:00 and on a Saturday

He decides to go back to sleep and doesn't try to fight it when his eyelids start becoming heavy

It's 9:00 when Hakyeon is rudely awoken by none other than Jaehwan, jumping on him oh so gracefully

"I'm going to give you three seconds to get out of my room, before I hurt you" he threatens, with one eye slightly open he glares harshly at the brunette tugging at his hair

"You're mean" Jaehwan whines childishly as he scampers back from Hakyeon's reach

"Well get out then" he mutters, rolling over in bed to face the wall

"Come on it's Saturday-"

"Exactly why you should let me sleep"

"-no work today so let's go out and see the world" he pulls open the curtains, gesturing wildly at the bright sunny day

"Or you could let me sleep and tell me what it's like when you get back" he replies, hissing at the sudden brightness

"Nope, not how it works. Up and get ready, I'll make breakfast" Jaehwan pulls his duvet away, leaving the room before he has time to dish out a sassy comeback

"Sometimes I'd like to take you on a nice long walk, then lose you somewhere" he mutters while stretching

"I can hear you!" He hears Jaehwan call from the kitchen

He chuckles silently to himself whilst picking out today's outfit,

Once ready he runs a hand through his hair, tousling it around for a bit before deciding to slip on a beanie. Taking one last look at himself he fixes his collar before slipping on his shoes

Upon entering the kitchen the smell of sizzling bacon has him drooling and his stomach growls in anticipation

"Hungry?" Jaehwan snorts

"The stomach never lies" he shrugs taking a seat at the dining table

"It also never shuts up"

"I'm a growing boy, I need a lot of food" he sniffs snobbishly, turning his nose up at him

"So what do you want to do today?" Jaehwan enquires, ignoring his best friends sass "No, going back to bed is not an option" he adds, noticing the shine in Hakyeon's eyes

"Ugh you always have to rain on my parade" Hakyeon mutters, munching into his eggs as if they were the last on the planet "we could go shopping, I need hair dye" he twists his fading scarlet strands in between his thumb and index finger
