Hello my name is Chloe NightWing. Yep like the first Robin. Some people call me crazy. I must say this is completely, absolutely true.
You see it all started in sixth grade. We where sharing our journal entry in English. It was what characteristics of a man/woman would you like to marry? I had no interest of marrying anyone so I said I would like to just be a crazy cat lady. And I was known to be crazy then on.
But it is not to mental extremes like everyone thinks it is. It is not like my cheese slid off my cracker, or what is that saying? I fell off of the rocker? You get the point right?
Well anyways let's ease off of my craziness for a second and get on the main problem. I am now in the eighth grade, and the boy sitting at the popular football guys table in the lunch room his name is Chris Mantion. He has the most beautiful bright blue eyes and his shaggy brownish blonde hair, the cutest nose and his smile warms everyone around him. Now when he is mad he is a bit scary.
I can remember that other day in sixth grade in the nurse's office. I had gotten a nose bleed, it happens a lot, he had come in from PE I suppose sense he was wearing his gym suit. Our nurse asked, "How can I help you?"
He was slumped over in pain. "I got hit in the um, you know." Chris's voice was a bit higher and tighter than usual.
"Let's get some ice on that." The nurse put a few cups of ice into a plastic Baggie, and handed it to him. "What is your name?" Nurse Maggie asked.
"Chris Mantion."
"How did this happen Chris?"
"I was playing four square with Chase, Ethan, and Rick, Rick said that I was out when it was clearly him. I told him he was the one out and then we got into an argument then he decided he was going to take it to a physical level and through the ball really hard at me. He told coach Alexander that I punched him really hard, but it was just self defense, and Coach said I couldn't play on the football team anymore." He started crying. I guess he didn't see me there holding my tissue to my nose, because he poses as one of those tough guys, not then though.
"Chris," the nurse said. "What you need to do is talk to Coach Al and tell him what really happened. Don't do it today let him cool down and wait until tomorrow morning, I'm sure he will let you back on the team."
"Yes ma'm." He said. A few minutes later he finally left the room. I let out the breath I was holding in.
"Has your nose stopped bleeding yet Chloe?" The nurse asked.
"Uh, yeah I think so." I said quickly leaving the room to go back to art.
Oh yes the problem well I have a big crush on him. On Chris Mantion.
