A Mafia Love Story

The Party

Today was your two friends double birthday party. It was one of the last things you had to enjoy before college took over your life. Andrew (who was a male version of you in both looks and personality) was turning 18 in a few days and Zeke had turned 21 at the beginning of the month. Your mother stayed for a few minutes to say happy birthday to the two boys before leaving. Your friends loved your homemade gifts and thought the cards you wrote for them were beyond sweet. They both pulled you into tight hugs but Zeke's lasted a bit longer than Andrew's.

After hugs, you stayed downstairs with Andrew while Zeke went back upstairs to their shared room. Later that night everyone would be playing dungeons and dragons but since you hadn't played before Andrew was helping you set up your character.

After you set up your character you all started to play board games while waiting for food to be ready.

After everyone ate most of you hung out downstairs while Zeke and his friend Allen went back upstairs to play computer games. Zeke came back down and asked you if you wanted to join him and you said sure.

When you two got upstairs you sat together on his makeshift bed. He pulled you against him so that you were leaning against him while he and his group built a castle in some minecraft - like game. He kept saying to his team that he would be right back and would put his keyboard to the side to hug you and snuggle with you. You didn't really know how to respond so you just sat there but eventually you started poking him and got into a poke war. Somehow Zeke ended up on top of you and paused. He then pulled away and right when he pulled away, Andrew's mom walked in and said very loudly, "Are you two a couple yet?" You both blushed and started stammering. She just laughed and walked off.

"I'm sorry about that, I hope it didn't upset you." said Zeke. "It's okay, I just wasn't expecting that." you replied. "What do you mean?" "Well I've never been asked out by anyone or been in a relationship before." "Really!?" "Yeah." "Like, never ever?" "Nope, never." Zeke was so shocked that he paused for a moment before saying, "But you're so sweet and pretty and squishy and adorable!" "What are you talking about? No I'm not." "Yes you are." "No I'm not." "Honey, you are the sweetest, most adorable, girl I have ever met. You may not believe it but I do." You just sighed and said, "If you say so." He would have said something more but his team started asking him where he was so he went back to playing.

A few hours later you all went back to the living room to play dungeons and dragons. Afterwards, you, Andrew, and Zeke went back upstairs. Zeke ended up falling asleep while holding you and you begged Andrew to help you get out of his clutches. Drew smirked at you and said, "Why, you seem pretty happy." "I'm not happy, I'm dying of heat, dude's a freaking furnace." Andrew laughed but helped you out.

Once you finally cooled down Andrew asked you an interesting question. "So do you like him?" You cocked your head to the side, "Like who?" "Zeke." "Well if I didn't I wouldn't have spent so much time hanging here. I would have just hung out with you." "No, I mean do you like like him." "Ooooohhh. Well I don't really know. He seems like a decent guy but we haven't known each other long enough for me to come to a decision really. Besides, even if I did there's not much I would do about it." Andrew sighed, "I just don't want you to miss out on something that might be good for you Y/N." "I know, but right now I need to focus on college. Thank you for worrying about me Drew but really, I'm fine. When I am ready I will maybe revisit the idea of dating, and maybe it will be with Zeke. Until then, no pressuring me into anything with anyone, and don't say you wouldn't because I know you and I know you would not let go of me and Zeke potentially dating." Andrew just gave you a small smile and said, "Whatever you say Y/N, and I'm not that bad." "Yes you are." Andrew just smiled and shook his head. He laid down and said, "Try not to stay up too late Y/N." "I won't"

The next morning

You woke up next to Andrew the next morning. You looked up to see that Zeke wasn't in the makeshift bed. You quickly crawled in and Andrew moved in next to you. When Zeke went back into the room with Allen they found the two of you sound asleep next to each other on the mattress. Allen left but Zeke couldn't help but stare and smile. He saw Andrew sleep all the time, but seeing you was different. It was like seeing a sleeping angel. Your lips were slightly parted and your lashes were like feathers, softly gracing your face. He couldn't believe  how cute you were. He wanted to stay and keep watching you but went downstairs instead.

You woke up a few moments later and you and Andrew went downstairs together to wait for your parents to come get you. You sat on the sofa and Zeke quickly switched his seat so that he could sit next to you. You gave him a quick smile and went back to watching what Andrew and Allen were playing. You didn't even realize that he had pulled the 'stretch and put an arm around the girl' move until he placed his hand on your shoulder and pulled you closer. You weren't sure what to do but luckily your phone went off with your parents saying that they had arrived. You quickly hugged Zeke, or tried but he didn't want to let you go and had to be pulled away by Andrew who gave you an actual quick hug. You hugged the others and went out to the car to go home.

Sorry for not writing in so long. I've been working on this chapter for a while now and just got around to finishing it. It was easier to write this time cause my parents got me a tablet with a detachable keyboard for Christmas. Anyways, I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and enjoyed welcoming in the new year. I'm going back to school in 2 days but I will try to fit writing into my soon to be busy schedule.
