Chapter 6- The New Neighbors

Sorry for not writing for a really long time! I'm going to try my best to make this long. I just came back from school so I have about 3 hours to finish. Should be long:)

I logged out of Twitter and checked the time. 8:39PM. I went to Facebook and checked my notifications. I replied back to some, liked a few statuses, said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" to a few people and poked back. I then logged out of Facebook and went onto Tumblr.

After reblogging a few posts, my phone rang. The screen read ' Cody :3 '.

I pressed the bright green button and said "Hello?"

"Hey Cara. I'm truly sorry but I have to cancel tomorrow. Mum says that we're moving out. She also said that it's a surprise." Cody explained with a sad expression.

"That's ok. Maybe we go out next time when you finally settled in, ok? Bye, Cody!" I said as I put down the phone. 

I continued reblogging a few posts. After an hour or so, I logged out of Tumblr. The time was already 9:26PM. I turned off my laptop and placed it back on my desk. I tucked myself in bed and drifted off to sleep slowly.

~NEXT MORNING~

BEEP!!! BEEP!!!

I woke up to my phone buzzing nonstop. I looked at the time. 11:56AM.

I answered it, not caring who it was.

"Hello?" I said sleepily.

"Oh! You're still sleeping? Sorry! But Cody and I just reached our new house!!! Can you get changed now? I'll be outside your house in 10 minutes! Hurryyy!!"

I put down the phone and went into my walk-in closet and picked out what to wear.

I wore a white tanktop under and a grey off-the-shoulder with the number 79 and the word "VINTAGE" under it. I also wore grey skinny jeans and a pair of black TOMS shoes.

By the time I was done, it was already 12:04PM. I brushed my teeth and picked up my phone. I clicked on the home button and it lighted up showing the look screen. It was already 12:06PM. I went out of my room and into the kitchen. I quickly got some dog food and poured some into Angel's bowl. I quickly put the leftover back and sat on the couch, waiting for Alli.

I unlocked my phone and opened up Instagram. I liked a couple of pictures and checked the "News" Tab. I heard the doorbell rang and closed the app. I checked the time. 12:13PM. She's late. I locked my phone and opened the door. Cody was standing there. No Alli. He was wearing a plain white v-neck shirt and brown capris with black Vans. He came up to me and hugged me. I hugged him back and he let go of me.

"Where's Alli?" I asked, looking around.

"Still unpacking. I'll bring you to our house. But I'll have to blindfold you. Chill, I'll be holding onto you the whole time." He put on a blindfold on me and I immediately took it off.

"Wait. I need to get my key. Mum isn't home yet." I ran up to my room, grabbed my key off the desk and ran back out to lock the door. Then Cody blindfolded me and soon we were walking. 

"Cody? Are we going to walk to your house?"

"Yep. It's near. Like, really near." 

After 1 minute, that felt like 5 minutes, we finally came up 3 steps and we were there. Cody removed the blindfold and as I looked around, I realized where he lived.

I know I said I would try to make it long. I still have 2 hours left to write so I'm making a new chapter. I know it was boring but the next one will be awesome. [Well, kind of]  :)
