***in the castle on way to throne room***
Avery's POV
We enter the throne room with people in it. I looked at this girl with blonde hair that looked about sixteen or seventeen. I looked at her eyes and they were red. I was confused and scared. I grabbed Aaron's hand tightly and before he could speak there was a scream. I looked to my left to see a dead woman on the ground and the blonde headed girl with blood on her mouth. I turned and my blue eyes locked with red ones. For some weird reason I wasn't scared and I couldn't bring myself to look away. Then I was grabbed by a man and I knew I was about to die, but the red eyes I locked with belonged to a boy that looked like the girl but with brown hair, he stopped the man and said, "Felix she's my mate." The man let go of me and I said, "Please don't kill me or my family."
"We might let your family go but they must become one of us because they know to much, but if they refuse we'll be forced to kill them." He said. I looked at my family then the boy and I say,
"They'll become what ever you are just don't kill them." He nods his head and said to follow him. He took us to a room and we walked in but before I could go in he asked,
"What's your name?"
"Avery, yours?"
"Alec."
